Great paint job Yufkey great build.
Your stuff is getting to be killer Dude.
Like the choice of different colors gives it that splash.

Hi everyone,
Here is my entry to this campaign. Academy's M1025 Humvee in OIF colors. Minor modifications include the side mirrors, rear stowage, CIP panels, antenna and rope on bumper. Painted with Tamiya Sand in Spraycan. Weathered with Vallejo acrylics and pastels. Thanks for viewing.
Thanks,
Alan

Mighty nice Humvee you have their Alan.
Welcome aboard also.
I do like that sand Base .
Is that something local to your area?
You are a fast builder I might add.

Thank you for welcoming me and your kind words Jeff.
Groundwork is a mixture of fine sand, pebbles and grounded pastel.
I originally wanted to enter my M1 Aim but I don't think i'll be able make the deadline (got to earn a leaving too). I completed the Humvee actually last took me two months to complete.
Cheers!

Thank you severum.
Just stating the truth.
Good job of mixing the Base.
Working on a Humvee myself a 1046 From Tamiya.
Do like Yufkey's build and heck they all look good.

Alan, good job on the Hummer. I like it a lot. Especially the dusty windows that look quite realistic with an uneven coat of dust.

Looks pretty good. I especially like the fact that the rear hatch is open. Good job on the "stuff."

Well here is what I hope to be my entry. Still a long way to go so I'm not sure she's gonna make the deadline. Oh well. I will post pics of her done no matter when I finish. Dragon's AIM that we all know and love. My second. Not my last. The figures are from Think 180 (Arab farmer), Warriors (infantry soldier), Alpine (tank crewman leaning), and Verlinden's OIF tank crew. All have Hornet heads except the farmer. The goat and dog are from Doug's Originals. The base is a simple wooden plaque with green florists foam glued on. It's super easy to sculpt and doesn't weigh anything. The farmer isn't quite where I want him but it was windy so he's leaning against the tank for the WIP pics. I plan on adding the edge of a stream in the front right corner where it slopes down to fill the space. I was thinking of giving the rifleman an apple to snack on but I'm not sure if he would have access to such a fruit. What would a soldier snack on? Something other than an MRE would be more interesting. Could he have gotten something locally grown/sold? The time period is nearing the end of the initial invasion. Any suggestions / ideas are encouraged.

That all looks great, good layout, I especially like the photoetch turret baskets. Looks like they might want to pay attention to the haji sneaking up from behind.

Looks like one fine looking Abrams Gijs. Is that Trumpeters mine plow or Tamiyas? Also where did you get that nice red and white cooler. Gonna try to build one from scratch. Hope mine turns out that nice.

Very nice looking Abrams, Gijs--the weathering looks great, as does your work with the stowage.
Matthew--your dio looks quite promising. I particularly like the way you've posed the suspension on the Abrams to show off the articulated arms.

I wish, Jeff--no such luck for me. At least I missed the heat wave we had here in the DC area the last two weeks. Now I just need to buckle down and finish my M113 for this campaign. Work has been so hectic I haven't even laid a finger on it over the last month and a half.

Thanks Lucas. I have always wanted to articulate a tanks suspension and with this kit it was real easy. Hope to have some paint on it soon.

Lucas I, however, did not miss the heat wave... sadly.
Great job on the tanks! I can't wait to see that dio finished; it looks like a great idea and plan.

Great looking M1. I really like the all of the gear stuffed in the turret. I drove a Humvee in ODS and we had it stuffed to the gills.
