Finally finished mine tonight. Turned out ok, I probably should have added leaves to the foliage. One of these days I am going to get a better camera and booth

I'm still working on my US Army MP (WWII ETO). Got a couple of good painting sessions in this week. Hope to finish by the end of the weekend. Pictures to follow...

Hi guys, here's my second and final entry. It the 1/35th Trumpy M1117, its straight out of the box, only thing I added was to airbrush the No "71" on both sides and the rear crew door.
This M1117 Guardian is modelled from pictures in Concords Special Ops book, Vol.29. It belongs to the 793rd Military Police Battalion "Spartons" of the 18th Military Police Brigade based in Bagdad in 2003/4
I would have liked to have had this displayed in a larger diorama but sadly time didn't allow me this so I'll do this sometime later.
Over the next few weeks I'll add the "Saw" to the pintle mount on the turret. I'll open the hatches and add figures too, but here she is below finished for the moment..
all comments good and not so good welcome

Hello everyone.
I don't really do figures, so I hopped into this campaign to do something different.
anyways here it is.
This is my first "serious" attempt at a figure.

Hello All,
@ Roy,
You have to load the photo's in the gallery. Look for MP Campaign Gallery under current campaigns and the upload you finished photo;s in the completed models(?) gallery.
@ Delbert,
You figure looks good to me. Make sure your get your photo in the gallery.
All of the figures that I do look like Mr. Potato Man, So you are a step above me.
My jeep is still at 10% done. Time to get working. I always wait to the last second of a campaign to get done.
4 Days to go,,,,,
Cheers,
Bruce

Hi Again.
I hope no one minds if I post another pic of my figure. I spent some time working with my new camera and found some better setting for my photo's. I think this one came out much better.
laters.
P.S. using a Polaroid 12 mega pix camera. trying also to not lose detail when I downsize the pics for posting, everything is a compromise.. LOL

It probally isn't the best item I have built. It is an Academy Hummer done as a MP vehicle for Desert Storm. No in progress because somebody erased the memory card. It is nothing fancey just a plain kit no photo-etched parts. I have been having a lot of trouble with my back so there has been very limited build time. So here it is.
I will post one in the campaign gallery.
Tom

howdy.. I had the same problem as its been awhile since I posted.
Step 1. be logged onto the site. then look at the top of the page for the menu bar that starts with "homepage" look over to the 6th one that says "Photo's" and click on it.
Step 2. you should be on a page that says "KitMaker Gallery. Look down the list till you see "campaigns" and click on that.
step 3. choose "currently active campaigns", then choose "! Military Police" and the campaign pics should be displayed.
step 4. at the top right choose the "upload photos" option. then just upload the photo on the page.. it will go right into the military police campaign gallery.

Hello Dragos,
My jeep is at 40% so far. I am going to put everything than is OD on it and paint the top and bottom parts tonight. Tomorrow I will put it together and add all of the other items that will be prepainted tonight also.
I should have it done by tomorrow night.
The jeep is part one of a dio for the Workhorse Campaign coming up, Part two is some German para's for Paint the troops Campaign that will also go in the dio for the Work Horse Campaign. When the Work Horse Campaign starts I will have to do my Pz 4 and make the ground work, etc.
I am hoping it will all come together.
@Thomas,
Good looking build. the hummer and the troops look great. Are you planing a little dio for them. Thanks for being in the campaign and I hope your back gets better.
@Delbert,
Thanks for helping Thomas getting his photo's up.
Got to get to the workbench for a nice little 8 hour build time,
Cheers,
Bruce

Well, I have to surrender...I thought I was going to be able to pull off a 30 day build for this campaign but I'm just not going to be able to make it. I spent 7 days out of town in the middle of the month and am leaving for 3 days of work in the morning which will put me back home after the deadline.
Here is what I was doing for the campaign. Its a real drag I didn't finish in time. Please take a look at the blog as I continue to progress.

Here is my entry for the MP Campaign. Apologies for the shiny finish on the figure. The dullcote wasn't completely dry yet when I took the pictures. I'll post some better ones tomorrow, so it's easier to see the shading and drybrushing.
I don't think I've ever spent as much time on one figure as this one..... Comments welcome.

Hello All,
The campaign ends at 2400 MST which is about 9 hours and 56 minutes away. You will have 24 hour after the official end to post your photo's in the gallery ( this also gives you an extra 24 hours to get done and photo's posted
)
@ Brent,
I am sorry you did not get done, But you did give it a good shot. Thanks for being in the campaign and I will be following your BLOG.
@ Mark,
Good looking figure. See above about the extra time. Thanks for being in the campaign.
I am on finish paint time, then when it dries I will put it together and hopefully post a few photo's.
Cheers,
Bruce

Hello All,
You have 6 hours 49 minutes to get your photo's posted to the gallery.
I will be awarding the ribbons Saturday Afternoon, I have to go to my Heart Doctor tomorrow, A 6 hour round trip.
I got my jeep done and her is a few photo's. Remember this jeep is going to be part of a Dio latter this year so some of the stuff is left off and the figures guns etc will be put on later when I destroy it.
It is blowing too hard to take photo's out side 35-55 MPH so they will not be the best but I am hoping that when I get the dio done I can post some photo;s in this thread to show you what happen to the MP's and the Jeep,
Cheers,
Bruce
