You have put dimples in your Smoke Dischargers tops, I was going to suggest that, makes them look much better for some strange reason.

Indeed Matt, I had to at least try to do something about those

Dave, trust me I know...The thing is that I wanted to try different product and technique with this build. The resine mantlet was part of that initially! You know voyager model: Always showing waaaayyy more than what is really in the kits. The budget for this one is busted I`ve patched it, and I`ll asses the situation once the primer is on. If it sucks....God knows what I`ll do Thx for the good word.

here is the tracks...Mixed feeling about miniarm. One side was pure madness tought they were absolute crap and the other side went up in 10 minutes with no brakage...go figure.

Hi Philippe,
it's nice to see it with a neat camouflage! I'm eager to look at the pictures with the weathering.

Hi Philippe,

this is a very nice T-72M1, indeed. I really like the camo. As far as I can see you decided to make a former East German vehicle.

I discovered a small error in your T-72M1 turret. The small round box of the smoke discharger (left turret side) is misplaced, position is too high.

Here is a link for the T-72 in Detail:
http://www.t-72.de/html/der_t-72_im_detail.html

the smoke discharger´s box:
http://www.t-72.de/html/turm_detail_3.html

the NVA T-72M1 three-tone camo:
http://www.track-link.com/forums/research_postww2/5103/flat

instructions for three-tone camo of the NVA troops:
http://www.google.de/imgres?q=nva+verzerrungsanstrich&um=1&hl=de&safe=active&sa=N&biw=1280&bih=879&tbm=isch&tbnid=yADOJu2pBwXtiM:&imgrefurl=http://www.panzerbaer.de/colours/a_relaunch/nva_verzerr.htm&docid=0NFeTsKHkMjd0M&imgurl=http://www.panzerbaer.de/colours/pics/nva_truck.jpg&w=295&h=161&ei=48gnUaO5G8bRtQb9loCoDg&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=323&vpy=563&dur=1608&hovh=128&hovw=236&tx=179&ty=45&sig=110903894183324981575&page=2&tbnh=128&tbnw=236&start=31&ndsp=39&ved=1t:429,i:267

When you translate the lower passage you will see that all hatches have to be painted within a darker colour or between two darker colors.

Merci! Where are you from in Québec?

Olivier
Your kladivo was an inspiration to me. Thank you for the good words.

Gary
Brother! If I can get my head outta my ass I`ll get some serious paint job done this week-end.

Nenad
Thank you for the input I know there is some small errors all around this build, it is a schooling project...I`ve learned a lot of new technique and used some new product as well. I will use those links on the next build wich will have a correct turret and not this very controversial Tamiya turret

Thanks to all!

It's looking very very nice Phil,

I like the way you have a solid block of white/grey on the end of your gun barrel, kinda creates an optical illusion, making the barrel look shorter, very much like the wavy white stripe/band that they used to put on Sherman Fireflys to try and hide the uber long barrel.

Hey Phil,

She's a beautiful deadly beast my friend! IMHO, i think the gun barrel would look even better with the end tipped in the darkest shade of camo. Nothing wrong with it now. Just a thought.

Phil, votre réservoir est une mère douce F-er

Plus tard, mon frère,
