Gracias Jose !
It's a good kit but the wheels, suspension and tracks take my motivation away ...

First up as it's Christmas Eve here in Australia, I would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone a very merry Christmas
I hope Santa brings everyone some plastic / resin surprises!
Attacked my stryker with some washes, pigments and oil paints today but it's still not completely done. Will be adding stowage and some netting and straps to hold it on..Not going crazy with stowage, just a sensible amount.

I made a slight error with the decals here
And only realized I had done so after they had set!
The red and yellow "do not overtake turning vehicle" are on the wrong sides...doh!
Guess I won't be entering this in any competitions

I am looking forward to seeing how that turns out John. It is an interesting machine that I would like to try building someday.

@Sal - love the armoured train, it looks massive!
Did these have their own means of propulsion or were they towed by a locomotive?
I am calling my Stryker M1130 done
And as I have no other Trumpeter kits, I'm all done for this excellent campaign.

Hi fellas! Many great looking kits in this campaign s far. Mine has been on hiatus because of christmas holidays and nasty flu, I'm suffering right now..
Some minor issues have and will cause extra job with this kit, for example fender supports, which are too short to get attached to hull sides. So either I have to make new ones or fix that issue somehow.. Upper hull frontal armor plate on pic is selfmade. Situation so far:

Great Job Jason !!!
You must be really proud !
Well, quoting Alice Cooper... Welcome to my Nightmare...
Neubaufahrzeug.
I bet he wasn't thinking of that in 1975

Painted and ready ..

As you can see not all wheels are even, during all this process, on some the paint has dried and made them not moveable some have too much glue, some are too damn mobile.
As a result I ended up applying to much strength ..

I fixed it,

but it will be tilting on the ground..
Mmhhh... either I start on the tracks and see how it goes or I simply start all those wheels & suspension all over again, give them an alcohol bath, clean all the paint & glue..
Going to eat something before I smash a Neubaufahrzeug

:D
No Jeff...
With some luck, maybe January.. Still have to decide on redoing all the wheels / suspension..
or (most probable solution ) make the tracks, paint them, put them on.
Then the fenders & equipment. Since the 3 turrets are already done.
Then it's time for the 2nd build, aircraft or armour.
Take care Jeff !! How's everything going on ?

Hi Sean, you can get it at the Sockel Shop:
http://www.dersockelshop.de/search?sSearch=Fennek
But,
it will cost you another 17€ for the shipping.

Almost forgot...
Just when I was thinking this couldn't get any worse..

Notice 5 pins to cut & clean on each track

129 links per side...
Cleaned

And of course, 2 types of pins

And both on

I will try to do 10 links every day, like a daily torture..

BUT... once you get past the cleanup they are superb tracks and fairly easy to assemble.
That's why I'm going with a pair of Modelkasten for mine too for my KV-122 from eBay.

Thanks Jeff for bringing some sunshine

10 links per day this will be over in a month

Tomorrow I'll start Trumpeter's 2nd build, the Neubaufahrzeug took the fun I was having on this Campaign and locked it in a trunk of a sinking car
