Your welcome Alex, when you asked about the figures it was the first one that came to mind. I know there is one other company it's either D-toys or Djiti but their ment for the british WMIK.

Thanks Paul your campaigns have bee fun so far and look forward to part 2 of the t-55 world. I'm actually plan to build a soviet 2S3 with troops that I got from Ant miniatures will post it later today. For now I still need to finish my T-54 which I just slap some more paint just a few minutes ago.

Here is my project, planning to build a Soviet 2S3 deployed to Afghanistan during the late 80’s. Here’s some of the figures I will use along with a couple other from the spare parts bin.

Thanks for the nice welcome. This is only my 3rd model since re-discovering the hobby, and my first departure from "olive-drab", so I think it will be fun.

I managed to sneak in a little bit of modelling time tonight. Suspension arms fitted.

John, nice choice of kits, that figure set in there is a real good one I built it a few years ago. I was going to go with a PzIII here myself but so far the member that I bought it fron here stiffed me on it

I thought this campaign was already well underway. I have to confess a false start on this one fellas. Though I did get some rare time at the bench and am going with a Desert Themed Puma:

I know, it looks like IAF cammo. It was supposed to be Swedish cammo to match their desert uniforms, but I couldn't get it to look right.

Chally 2, Enigma, Syrian Pz 4, Jaguar GR1, Merkava or just some Afrika Korps figures from Tamiya.

Christopher I'm glad you like my campaigns, at least one person admits to it .
A very nice vehicle you have brought along there, and the figures look hot too

John a warm welcome to you too, and another Panzer III , I think this vehicle could the main runner here

Benjamin nice start there, are you sticking with the kit tracks or are you AM ?

Sal I hope you at least get your money back.

Graeme I am afraid that you are too far along to allow you to continue here.
Do you have something else you could start for this one?

To all, I don't want to be the miserable, grumpy old git of a campaign leader but, if you have a started kit then please ask if it's ok before jumping in. If a kit is less than 25% done then I may consider it as ok, but you must ask first.

There's always the Unfinished Business campaign....not that i'm trying to steal participants....it's not a contest.

Would a Meng Special Forces pick-up or the pick-up with ZU-23-2 qualify for this campaign Paul?

Hi Sean, it sounds like you wish to join the camel train ?
Why sure you can bring the Special Forces pick-up or the pick-up with ZU-23-2 or even both if you wish . They were both seen last year in very dusty climates so perfectly ok.

Ok Graeme, it's exactly as you say, it's all about modelling.
You have shown us nothing with your almost finished build, so please don't give me that.
In my opinion these campaigns are all about showing how to make kits, either OOB or with all the add-ons you can find. But, you have to show how you deal with possible problems of a kit, or how to make a version using scratch building techniques.
You see it is all bit more than just a rectangle of pixels at the end, it's about having shown newer kitbuilders how to get along and keep the hobby going.

Hi Paul. I think you misunderstood. What I meant is that I don't care whether I'm eligible for the little ribbon. I thought there might still be some interest in me sharing the painting & weathering process to come, as this was an OOB kit with nothing to note during the assembly. Thanks for the pointers all the same, I'll keep them in mind for future campaigns. All the best.

Funny I was thinking of a Syrian PZ4 too and I also have a chally1 Now how about the Merkava stopped next to a rusty PZ4 from the Golan heights with the crew checking out the PZ4?
