Nice catch Mark, I´ve got the Revell rebox of it, but decided to save it up, as it´s gotten quite rare here...
If you want, I can mail you some (color) pics of Rommels Greif... IF I can find them on my PC

Hi, I don't usually give up but honestly was on the verge of unenlisting. I have tried many times at posting photos here with no results. Well, as you can see in the above post I finally got it.

No problem Mark,
just frop me a pm with your mail and I´ll send you the zip file...
quality isn´t superb, but should help working the "cammo" out, the single color pic I´ve found is recolorized and wrong with the insription. While the left side had the word "Greif" written in red with white outlines, the right side had just the outlines.

Maybe I understood things wrong, but this was a 251-campaign?
What's Rommels 250 doing here then?

In October Corsair924 modified the ground rules to include the 251 and 250.

Well I had originally thought that all the variants of the 251 would be enough to satisfy.
10 minutes later the 250 advocates showed up
So now it's both.
Starts April 1
But examining the kit I didn't find the barrel--wth?

I'm still in with the same 251 kit as Milvehfan. I'm not sure if I'll be starting right off the bat or maybe waiting a bit. Anyway, this will be my first Dragon origin halftrack. I've built the Tamiya ones, the Zvezda one, and even an old Blue Tank offering so I think I'm game for it.

Hi.
I thought to give it a go too. Just enlisted and recieved my kit to enter this campaign today.
So here is my entry.
I'm waiting for a little PE to arrive.
Also a conversion set from Azimut arrived today, se what to do with that. Found a cheap Ausführung c from Tamiya on MP and with some spares I want to build a Pioneer version.
Already did some study on the vehicles I want to build, so I'm ready to go.
Cheers,
RJ

Hi all.
I think this is a usefull link. As from page 7 you can find drawings for the 250/251 types.

Here is a picture of the conversion from Azimut.
Some very nice resin. Together with a little PE and scratchbuilding I hope to build a Pioneer version out of a Tamiya kit.
From earlier kits and a conversion from AFV for a 251 Ausführung D I got lots of spares, so worth to try.
For my AFV kit a Maybach motorunit will complete the kit.
Ordered it last weekend, will arrive soon.
Cheers,
RJ

I'm still going with the Cyberhobby Hanomag. I'm not sure when I'll start and what I'll be building it as exactly. Maybe an ambulance version. I probably won't be using the figures that come with the kit.

not shure when I´ll start, but at least I took the starting pic
All in all, the kit seems worth its money, and the pervious owner didn´t do a bad job with the first steps...
Just a word to the DS-figures... how am I supposed to clean those nasty seams up without damaging the oh so well rendered detail?
Soft plastic figures are rubbish!!
