Peter fast built, good luck for your diorama.
The canvas is a bit simplified on the kit and without a single fold !

Naver saw this kit before. I will follow your updates with interest.

Thanks guys. The cover is a simple one and a tad plain, but I hope to liven it up a bit.

There are some pretty awesome builds for this campaign! This was my first build of an AFV in UN livery, and it was a nice change up from my normal builds. I know the UN BTR-70 is probably cliché and overdone, but it was the only kit I had that would work - although a Panther G in UN colors might have been interesting.

Nice build, Shawn.
Like the subtle chipping, looks great.
I always tend to overdo this ;-)

Nice work Shaun

My Lany progress

The back cover is not attached yet, took the back bit out and made a rolled up cover with lead foil.

The few final touches done to the Lany, with the exception of the wing mirrors. I have started the base work. It is from a previous dio, which I decided to change so used that with some changes to it.

A fair bit to do on the base but the Lany is nearly there.

Have finally finished the Lany and base. Considering a figure but might just leave it as is. Thoughts?

Thanks Wayne. Glad you like it. It didn't win anything, the compertition was very good in that category. I did win 2 Golds though so I am very pleased.

Boy there are some really great builds here, and fantastic diorama's!!! Nice job to everyone so far on their builds, and completed projects!

I started my build today for this campaign, I had this older Tamiya Leopard 2A6 in the stash, and to be honest I was very unmotivated to start and even tackle this build. I had planned on using it as trade bait towards something else. Then I got to thinking, what the hell, why not build it and toss some UN markings on it!

Here's where I'm at as of today.

Hi G.Houle,

thanks for showing your build.

Only to clearify ... the Leopard 2A6 was never used in any UN Mission. I would consider calling it a "what-if" build.

Please take a look at the campaign rules: http://armorama.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Campaigns&file=index&req=showcontent&id=762
3. There must be evidence that the vehicle was actually deployed in the service of the UN.

cheers
