Nice looking Jeep, Delbert.

Just waiting for a decal to dry on my FOLLOW ME Jeep and I'll be done in a record (for me, anyway) six days from cracking the box to complete. Pics on the morrow.

Fred,
I think 15 June now.

Had a frustrating day trying to get a decent result on the FOLLOW ME sign, but after six tries I think I finally got it. Here's my finished jeep:

Now I know why I don't work in 1/72 scale...

Good luck to everyone!

Nice finish Tom -- congrats! Curious -- what are those on the wheel hubs, and why red?

You're a brave man to tackle that in braille Mark

Cheers,

Hello,

Quick update. Decals on. Started weathering.

Will have to redo the tires. Also, I've scratched the windscreen during the masking process. Need to figure out if there can be a fix. Appreciate hearing options.

Cheers,

Tat

Looks good so far Tat..

The only way I know to fix scratches in clear parts is using a polishing compound.. I use the Novus set.

good luck

Very nice Tat! You could always just leave it scratched, Lord knows that happened.

Where I was this morning on the 1/24 Hasegawa Willys MB:

More since then!

Thanks Delbert, Michael. Will see how it goes -- good to have the extra time on this. Had to slow down on the overall weathering though -- as I sat back to check last night, it was starting to look more towards an OD finish than dunkelgrau

Well we can't have an OD Kubelwagon!

Here's were I am at the end of the day:

So far so good! The spare tire bracket tried to get away from me but I found it, by golly. So I'm calling this successful so far.

Tat,
Give it a coat of Future and you should be GTG.

Finish my kit, OOB.

It'd been molded since 2008 with so thick and ugly decal.

Thanks, Tat. Nice looking of your Kubelwagen.

About mine, using the stuff that I have. It's simple.
