Sounds good, Paul!

I was thinking of a start date in October-November with a 9-12 month runtime to give people enough time. The rules will stay pretty much the same as they were for this current campaign.

Timeline sounds good. I'm eyeing the DML Tiger I Initial, the original #6252 release. With all bits in it, Magic Tracks and all, it should easily pass the 750-part minimum.

Of course I have to get my Pz IV across the line in time

Sounds good, Tat! Glad to have you interested in this!

I almost settled for the new Trumpeter Bereg myself but this might change until we get closer

I have a few new kits. MENG T-72B3 and TAKOM Chieftain 5P. They may have enough parts for that.

The MENG T-72B3 is something I'd definitely follow if you decide to build it. If it fits the part count limit, that'd be a great choice.

It's definitely on my list of next in lines. My wife bought me the Chieftain for my birthday.. And if I don't build it next she is going to kill me. Lol. I guess she just wants to see me build something that she bought for me. Haha

Oh! That moves it right to the top of the to-be-built list! That would of course be another nice build to follow if you decide to do it for the campaign.

Hi all,
Base coat on using the AK Nato set.

Then completed the most boring job ever! I now hate guide horns.

And finally last night completed the camo.

Well, I'm declaring the Dora monster done, done, done. This thing went from fun to drudgery, too many parts, poor fit (maybe my fault), etc.

Where do I post the picture?

Is there any error message? Have you checked the format (e.g JPG), size (e.g. less then 800 pixel wide/high) and that you have enough place in your personal gallery?

That new campaign might come sooner that you'd expect! We have less then six weeks to go on this one.

Speaking of which, I think it will be soon time to start discussions about the 750+ campaign so we can start it shortly after finishing this one. What do you all think?

I'd likely be up for this, I have Dragons Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf. E Tauchpanzer w/Betriebsstoffanhänger superkit in the stash, pretty sure it beats the 750+ requirement even before tracks are counted!

Thankyou for a lovely GB. I really enjoyed participating and shamelessly copying ideas from all the very talented members here. See you in the next campaign.

Cheers

One more month until the campaign ends! Time to finish up your entries

Hi Cristian, I have fallen behind with my build. Construction mostly complete, working on tracks at moment, then will be looking to paint. The thing is, I get married on Saturday and fly out to Sorrento on Sunday for a week, so time to finish will be very tight or not achievable for me. Is there any likelihood there will be an extension for a month on the campaign?

Thanks

Brian

Hello,

Made good progress in the last couple of weeks.

I had to sand off a bit from the bump stop so the suspension / wheels sit level on the ground.

Painted the lower hull using a Tamiya rattle can -- Gunship Grey which I think is closer to the German Grey shade one gets from the paint bottle. Did some initial weathering prior to installing the tracks.

Having Magic Tracks takes away the need to cut and clean more than 200 links. Had no problems getting the tracks together. The instructions call for 102 links per side, and I was able to build and mount the completed runs, no more no less, in one session.

Today I've painted the tracks. Moving on to the upper superstructure.

Cheers,

Tat
