For those who can read German: a nice background info to Mr. Rutman's 'Trinkebrüder'!
Just wondering if an overcorrect Nazi official would not have handed them over to a Feldjäger unit?
But maybe Mr. Rutman has already painted both the official and a couple of Feldjäger NCOs, being on their way to the crime zone. I wouldn't be suprised if he has.
Thanks for posting the interesting read Paul !! Very cool stuff.
From what I have read, unless it was an area like Berlin, where a lot of resistance was given, the party officials were the first ones to leave and very quickly ! So,no chaindogs will be coming for these two !

Mike,Marcos and Kevin,
Thanks all for the excellent comments. For the goat,I used a Tamiya goat from years past and scribed the hair detail, drilled the ears out a bit and cut the plastic beard off. Then a base coat of ivory white, followed by my usual judicious application of extended cotton strands. I then painted some details and finished with off white paint. I see his tail got a little bent though.

Kleine katzschen,
Tamiya kitten from the loading tankers set from many moons ago.
Not a big update. I am trying to finish a small project so I get a sense of completion. One needs that once in a while. Or,at least,I do.

OK then, small update on figs number 49 and 50.
Here is the rough cobbling already posted.
Here we go after three aps of putty. The last one was just applied on the hair and hands, etc. I still have to smooth out the dings and rough spots. But ya get the gist now pretty much.

Hi there Jerry, great work on the modification of those figures. Another skill which is completely new at my end that I will need practice at. Are the clothing details such as pockets done by hand with plaster or parts shaved off from other figures ?
Awesome work, looking forward to the painted results. Thanks for sharing.

The pockets and the other areas that show up white in the above pics are all two part epoxy putty. I forgot to add the latest pic with primer on in my last post. Here is the current state. Needs a bit more smoothing out in some areas. the last thing I added here were some PE boot soles but they don't show up well in this pic unfortunately.

Just catching up. Love the goat, but why do I keep thinking of Goatboy of Saturday night Live fame.
