Yea, that is a pretty extreme conversion...other campaigns have been generous to the rules for me, so I can too, looking forward to your ugly tank, LOL

Just signed up - now I need to decide on a subject! There's a converted Leopard "shop tractor", or the Spanish M60-based CEV with digger bucket arm instead of main gun, but time will be an issue...
I like Roger's armoured quarry dump truck, but ONLY if he adds a figure with that "bank robber" stocking mask!

Tom....
Oh go for the shop Leopard "shop tractor".... it is but a small thing. For a moment thoughts of the Hippo to go with the other BARV crossed my mind, but that WOULD be a bit to much.
I do have a big ERTL dump truck... 8^D

Tom,
I guess I am feeling totally stupid... right now I am seriously considering taking a run at the Hippo. At least I have drawings for this one...

Just not sure if I can make the front left wheel wonky like very supermarket trolley

You should be able to if you do it in 1/6th scale.

I'm in for this one. I've got this one in my stash that should work for this campaign.

Roger- Did they blur the guy's face so he couldn't be ID'd? LOL..
Mark- Perfect! Looking forward to your build!

I love it! But I see the design flaw - the slatted sides let all that valuable spent brass fall out...
(But I wouldn't mind having one for my next trip to the supermarket. )

Tom,
What the heck. The worse that can happen is that this one will take another 8-9 years to finish...
So, I am in with the Hippo....
Of course, if I could find the right motorcycle I might have to go for this one...
Ok, I am done....

Roger..Evidently there is a kit of the cart... Bob
If there's a kit of it then I'm not building it - scratch builder from hell speaking here .
A quick rummage around in the odds'n'sods box and:
Universal Hobbies 1/50th Komatsu HD605 - not a bad match for the Belaz dumper in the earlier photos, wouldn't take too much work to get an even better match
and a bit more of a rummage and:
Norscot 1/50th Cat 374D which could easily be converted to an IDF:
Hardest part for this campaign will be settling on a project

Roger.....
Just noticed that you were the guy doing the EggCopter!!! Wonderful idea, and great workmanship so far... am looking forward to seeing some progress on both of the builds you are doing in that blog.
Definitely inspiring.... I have a few ideas for EggPlanes that might see the day of light because of your two builds. Even came up with an idea for a Kubelwagen... more of a caricature than an egg, but still in the same carton...
Yeah, I can definitely see you building your own shopping cart..

Just a clarification- the "build" starts Jan 1, but plans/drawings or blueprints can be started and posted sooner, I'll have some of my plans for my 'Bantu' up in the next week or so...;-)

Would a Jeep fitted with dual Bazookas and added armor plating like this

be considered as improvised

Have fun, folks! I'll post who's building what, as they post their starter pics, in the First post of this thread!
