Yep, but I'll tell you what: Your blog was spot on about the tracks. Zero cleanup required, and certainly the easiest styrene links I've ever worked with.

Sal, I built that one awhile back for the 4x4 campaign. Instructions suffer from the usual Dragon issues, and the armor shield can be a tricky fit. Also, the PE hold-downs for the bazooka are too short--recommend replacing them with wire.

My pleasure! I'm sure you would have figured that out on your own and corrected it, but it's fun to compare notes when you see someone building the same kit.
Also, I lied: I built that for the Dragon OOB campaign, not the 4x4 campaign. The campaign leader wouldn't let me replace the bazooka hold down since it was supposed to be a strictly OOB build. Frustrating!

Well, I really screwed up this time. I am 1/2 way done with my M35A1 and I damaged the nerves in my left wrist leaving me with hang wrist. I have no wrist use at all but some finger movement. Tomorrow I will be taking off the splint and see if I can accomplish any more work on it. I'll let you guys know how it goes. Bob D.

Under the gun to wrap this up: Moving out on the 20th of July, and I don't see me getting back to the bench for quite some time after we get settled in the new place.
Have managed to finish construction:
I was out of grey primer and went to get more, but the guy at the auto parts place recommended some stuff I had never heard of before. It's called adhesion promoter, and it's a clear spray designed for plastic. That's why the tank has that dusty, mottled look to it. Will be interested to see how it works under acrylic.

Ok as Mark said the Armor shield was a bit tricky and actually broke in 2 spots
however i didnt have a problem with the Bazooka hold downs

That's shaping up nicely. I'm glad you didn't find the hold-downs troublesome. They are supposed to go through both holes on the mounting plate, but I could not get mine to reach no matter what. Perhaps DML has since updated the PE fret to fix that. Had it not been the 100% OOB restriction on the campaign mine was entered in I would have replaced them with brass wire--would have looked more in scale anyway.

Speedy yes been sort of sidelined lately had surgery on my knee so had some free tim to kill being out of work

Actually, they're not weld beads. Just Mr Surfacer to even out the seams. Looked like riveted construction, so without being sure of the presences of welds I thought it better not to add any.
Got the base coat of Russian Green on last night. The adhesion promoter seems to work nicely.

Couple of record shots of the IT-28 before the bridge section goes on. Once that's in place, there won't be much tank left to see...

Calling it done. Was trying to match KoSprueOne's fine build of this kit, but I fell pretty short. Not entirely displeased, though. Will take it to the modeling club meeting on Saturday and then into a box for the move! Hopefully will get the bench set up in the new house in time to get a couple more campaigns done this year!
