Daniel,
What a beast, it looks like it a size of a house. Does it come with a kitchen sink?

After mistakenly posting on the original 500+ thread, I was directed here, which I hope is the correct thread. Excited to be building my first Meng kit, which looks good.

I'm in with the takom type 69-1/59. Going to build the 69-1 I think. From having a look at the sprue map it looks like there are 622 parts for the 69-1.

Johar, a word of caution on this kit. There are 2 long pieces of brass that need to be bent to fit the upper hull on either side of the turret. While it is not difficult to bend these to the proper shape attaching them to the hull is a bit tricky as the attachment points are small. I recommend leaving them off until ready for paint as they are easily snapped off if not careful when handling the hull. You may also want to consider some form of reinforcement to strengthen the attachment. I wound up using strip styrene run along the length. Good luck. Hope it turns out well.

Hull done, went relatively smoothly apart from some fuel piping that was lost to the carpet monster and I had to scratch build a replacement. Much more straightforward than miniarts t54/55s, which are amazing models but mind bendingly fiddly, I have one on the shelf completed that I'm too intimidated to paint

Conrad,
That is one clean build you have there. I like the detail on the hull.
