Hi Michael. A particular reason you stopped the Magach? I have the Meng Magach 6B in the stash
Nothing wrong with the Magach, I just had a real urge to build the Merkava. On the other hand, having taken a good look at the tracks on that thing, I might change my mind again!

"I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure...."
I was planning on the Challenger for this build but David has that covered, so I may switch to the Magach...
I think we need to remember the older adage :
"a person who makes no decisions, makes nothing at all"
Looking forward to seeing whatever you decide on.

Hi David,
Your weathering is absolutely amazing! I am curious to see the model photos once the tank is finished.

Hi Joseph,
Very nice and clean build. Pls keep posting the progress, I wonder what colour you will choose for painting. I built a Tiran 5 from a Takom T-55A with A/M conversion sets and would like to see your approach.

Time to wrap up the Trumpy M1a2.
I gave it a light weathering and began adding stowage from the spares. The kit comes with some really bad attempts at CID panels. I had a set in the spares so I went with those instead.
And done. At this point, I'm just ready to be finished with this one. It really wasn't a fun build. If this wasn't for a campaign I probably would have shelved it. I see a what-if kitbashing in the future for this one.
Pics in gallery and thanks for the campaign.

Progress on Trumpeter's 1/35 K1A1. As you can see, suspension arms are glued (drive sprockets and road wheel hubs dry-fitted) and I am working on getting the stowage boxes onto the turret and the rear panel for the hull almost ready for attaching to the lower hull. Road wheel tires and tracks are being painted.

Sorry guys, I don't think I can start and finish my Abrams in a month an a half. I'm going to bow out of this one. Good luck to the rest of you.

I was looking at the time left before the campaign ends and I know that I won’t be finishing what I have already started. With so many things happening here at home and at work I’m also going to drop out. Sorry guys and best of luck to everyone.

Gentlemen,
I report this model being finished in the Campaign. I upload here some photos but I am not yet sure if it is enough to complete the Campaign (and receive the ribbon :-)))
This was a fun build and lots of techniques learnt. I am very happy that I met here so many nice guys and hope to meet you in the next similar campaign.
Happy modelling for all!
Tamás

Very nice work Tamas! I see you've loaded some pictures in the gallery, so you're good to go for a ribbon when the time comes!

Hi Guys. Haven't contributed for a while but still follow the campaign avidly. Although I posted pictures in the blogs (eventually after some difficulty) how do I post in the campaign gallery?

Gents,
Just for fun, I made a new photo today with my iPad Mini 2 and using simple cropping, the result looks pretty realistic.

I'll finally be starting the Trumpeter C1 Ariete MBT (1:35) this evening. Reviews say it is a quick build, so hopefully I can get it finished in time despite the late start.
