Some pictures of vehicle and gun.
More on history during my build.
Kind regards,
Robert Jan

Oliver - You did a very effective job with the paint & fading. It brings it to life.
Posted: Thursday, August 08, 2019 - 11:28 AM UTC
Tomas - That R-35 is a pip! Great job, I'm looking forward to seeing it with paint on it.
Posted: Thursday, August 08, 2019 - 11:32 AM UTC
Tom - Great choice! I have never seen one of these built and am curious how it will come out. I look forward to your build pictures.
Posted: Thursday, August 08, 2019 - 11:35 AM UTC
Pasi - Good progress! I like the detail on the bottom. These modern kits are wonderful that way.

Robert - I have never built a resin kit and will be watching to see how your build comes out. I love the photos of the actual vehicle so we can see what you are aiming to reproduce. The grill looks like a Ford truck from the mid 1930s.

Peter: Thank you! The references in this case show the lifting hooks. Can´t wait for your Char B1!
Tom: A13 Mk III is a nice tank. I read about the problem with the tracks in that kit. Because of that, I didn´t buy it. You have a winner with that track link set.
Pasi: Nice advances!
Robert: Interesting kits those you are building.
Paul: Thank you! And that moment has arrived. The model is painted.
I´ll show you how R-35 looks at this stage. Green and red-brown were applied as instructions show.
Now, some wheathering is waiting.
Regards
Tomás

A mean green machine Tomás. Looks fantastic.
Pasi, your build is also progressing nicely.
The A13 rubber tracks were an issue but the indies fix that. The engine deck was another little issue with the kit but I still bought it. There is a resin replacement for the out there if you can find it.

Thank you Gaz and Peter!
Well fellas, this project has come to an end!
After painting little details and weathering with oils and pigments, I show you the final images of my R-35.
Thank you Paul for hosting this great campaign.
Regards!
Tomás
Superb!!! Great looking replica. And reminds me after looking at the calendar that I need to get my butt in gear if I’m to finish on time. Well done Sir 👏!!!

Hi all.
I'm afraid I will not be able to finish this campaign, due to serious health problems. Hospitalization and some upcoming surgery the coming weeks, will hold me away from the workbench for the coming months.
Keep up the good work everybody.
Kind regards,
Robert Jan

Hello fellow modelers,
I finished my Sd.Kfz.232 6 Rad so far.Weathering and subtle dirt are on.
Next, I will go for a little Diorama with the 6 Rad in its favourite position. Stuck in the mud.

Fantastic Oliver. Very nicely done indeed.
I have started the Char B1 bis. This one did not take very long to get to this stage. It has been so long since I built something that was not open topped or needed a lot of scratch building, that I forgot just how quick a Tamiya build can be.
Turret halves and upper and lower hull are just dry fit at this stage.

I’m in with Brengun’s diminutive 1/144 scale resin Renault FT-17!
What? World War One vintage FTs in 1940?
Of course this tank from 1917 was completely outmoded by 1940, but this father of all modern tanks was such a basically sound design that there were still over 500 of them in service with reserve units of the French Army at the dawn of the Blitzkrieg era. They didn’t see much fighting, but in one case near the Marne in June, 1940 an improvised company of FTs of the French Tank School held off a German motorized column escorted by two armored cars; one of the little tanks, commanded by a cadet, actually destroyed 10 German vehicles before being knocked out.
Brengun’s 1/144 scale resin kit, though tiny, is admirably detailed and remarkably complete with alternate turrets, weapons, and markings for five tanks – two French, two German, and one American.
The parts look fantastic – I can’t wait to tear into this little beast!
