That's interesting little kit, looking forward how it turns out. The FT-17 was also used in Winter War on Finnish side, although only as dug-in gun emplacement.
Meanwhile, a more modern tanks is ready for paint:

I don't know how you do it Tim. I'd cut my finger off trying to remove the pour plug from something so small!
Not only was the Renault FT used by the French in WW2, the Dutch used them as defence prior to the German Invasion of the Low Countries. The Germans used ones captured in the Battle of France as well.
PS The name should not have 17 in it!!!
Pasi coming along nicely. Looking forward to seeing some paint on her.

I know what you mean, Peter!
I felt like I was all thumbs as I cut away the casting pour...
The little FT's running gear was easier, requiring only the removal of a thin film of resin.

Not yet at least...
I’ve never built a Brengun kit before, but this Renault FT released back in January is pretty impressive.
It even comes with a choice of Berliet or Renault style turrets!

Hi folks, I'd like to join the campaign with this old Tamiya Panzer IV. Photo quality is bad, was in a hurry to start building haha. Will post better ones for the actual build

The whole running gear/hull assembly of the tiny FT is a mere three parts, but it was surprisingly awkward to get assembled square and true as there were only very small attachment points between the track assemblies and hull.
This was not Brengun’s fault – it matches the design of the original. However, the gear shaft nubs to which the drive sprockets connected at the stern were a little too long. This necessitated a bit of sanding and fitting to get the tracks to fit closely to the hull as they should.
During this process I managed to break off and lose one of the delicate driver’s steps at the bow; to keep them consistent, I replaced both steps with bits of plastic strip.

Very neat Tim. That step would have required a microscope to make....

This kit really is amazing; even the muffler comes as a separate part.

Sheesh Tim.
Okay a poll everybody. What do you think the end result will be... lost from a tweezer pult, swallowed by Carpet Monster or just melted into oblivion by the drop of glue?

Funny you'd say that; just after I posted the pic I went to install the muffler and dropped the damned thing onto my Persian carpet! Several minutes and a lot of swearing later... I found it. Whew!
It is now safely glued to the hull along with the FT’s characteristic tail assembly.
...and the remarkable thing is, it isn't even the smallest part in the kit:
That 37mm Puteaux SA 18 canon is seriously small!

I attached the machine gun and 37mm to the Renault and Berliet turrets, respectively.
Both were still in use in 1940, so either would work.
Which version shall I choose...?

Mark, Bruce, Peter, Tomás and Don: Thank You for leaving a comment!
Pasi and Peter: Nice progress on Your kits!
Tim: Wow. This one is really neat. I do not know what is more difficult. Building such a small thing or painting it! I would go for the round turret version!
Meanwhile, I did a small dio for the 6Rad...
...and placed it into the mud.
Probably, I will use some older figures and a Panzer I from Esci for this scene, but I am not sure about their position, yet.

I had joined this campaign with an Tamiya CHAR B way back when!
As usual medical problems got in the way, but I just found the second kit that I thought of using in the campaign.
Here are some progress photos starting some where in March then I stopped. Here are the photos that were never posted. I rejoined the campaign and think that I have enough time to complete.
STARTING KIT:
SCRATCHING PARTS SINCE THE PLASTIC IS TOO BRITTLE TO REMOVE FROM TREES.
HULL CONSTRUCTED:
AGAIN EITHER LOST OR BROKEN PARTS SCRATCHED:
TURRET CONSTRUCTED:
WHERE THE TANK WAS AT WHEN BOX OPENED TODAY 9-24-2019

I still have nightmares about that Maquette kit Bob. Looks like you are taming it nicely though. Great scratch built work

Quick update. This was a few days ago. No airbrush meant that I had to rely on other stuff like oils to breakup the monotony of the finish. I put on decals last night, but haven't taken photos yet. They slivered all over the place (had to put them over uneven surfaces). As I didn't have my decal solutions with me (house still under construction), I had to rely on white vinegar and prayer.

I have the tank sitting in a bath of 91% alcohol to take the acrylic paint off. After viewing Nigel's great paint job I took a look at mine and decided to redo the paint.
Good job Nigel

Hi all. Thought I'd give a little update on my getting well soon. Just when you think...hey we are getting somewhere...I can walk again (be it for short distance), my doctors decided on a draw back(they pulled my big toe nail out, just to keep me on the couch for at least another 3 months. Your healing process will benefit from this he said.
So today after one week of pain, healing seems to hurt a lot, I had my second checkup in Bangkok, (location where the did the surgery), another draw back.
Possibly additional surgery, but hey...first we make a CT Scan, due October 18 and after that we will decide.
Well, I hope Christmas 2020 will be a good one.
Kind regards,
Robert Jan

I love your idea of having the 6Rad bursting out of the frame...

Very nice layout Oliver. The ground work is excellent.
Nigel The Panzer 4 is also coming along nicely.
Robert. Sorry to hear of the set backs. I hope everything starts working out for you from here. Hoping for a speedy recovery.
