Okay its still December 31st here in my part of the world so here is my submission to this campaign. Its also my first campaign to have completed.

I actually finished this a couple months ago but kept putting off getting a picture of it.

I did the Tamiya T-72 in Czech markings. Really enjoyed building this kit. I don't usually do modern subjects but building this kit has peaked my interest in building some more.

The only thing I added was the Eduard Zoom Pe set which was very nice.

Hope you all like it.

Just have to get better at taking the pictures.

P.S. I know there is a gallery I am supposed to put the pictures in but I can't remember where to find it. I am not the most computer savy person. Just getting the pics on here was a major accomplishment for me.

Jeff--that is a very good looking T-72. How did you create the faded side skirt effect? It looks quite nice.

As for the Campaign picture gallery, here is a link to the upload page. Go to that page, upload your pictures, and you are done! Hope this helps!

Finally! I found some spare time and completed the salvaging of my M1A2 (Revell 1/72 scale). Though it looks horrible (for me), it is done. I had enough of this kit. Don't get myewrong, the kit itself it very nice and a good build. However I fumbled my preshade attempt, then spilled paint over it, then spilled some thinner over it and ruined it further. This is as good as it gets after all that adventure.

I think you are wondering where the pictures are... I had to format my blasted desktop because of a virus, as soon as I get it operational I will upload the final photos both here and in the gallery. A lucky year this seems to be!

Cheers,

Ok, desktop computer formatted, pictures uploaded... Comments are welcome, even though I should say that this is one of the builds I would really like to forget about. I have already thrown the bugger into the depths of the drawer so that I don't see it.

hi guys,
i'm in the home stretch of finishing my s-tank for this campaign. there were many problems with this build, both with the kit and my personal life... but i thought that a campaign about the greatest tanks couldn't have the s-tank missing from the roll call, it just wouldn't be right. here are some photos:

i should finish by the 31st and will have proper pics taken.

Hi Lim,

Glad to see you are still powering along with your build for this campaign! The camo job is looking pretty sharp too.

Definitely keep us posted once you are done with your build!

As promised, here is the completed product:

The radio antennae will be up after I decide what to do with the kit. There were many problems, but none are unsolvable. The one thing that I will mention is this: there is something weird about the plastic Trumpeter uses, every cut, snip and shave on the plastic releases some fumes into the air. Very strong smelling stuff. Hopefully guys working on the more recent kits don't encounter this problem. The camo was hand painted, since the surface was so knobbly I couldn't really mask it properly. Besides I put too much PE on the kit for masking to be safely handled by me. Comments very welcome, I need to improve...

Awesome work Lim! Congratulations on completing the campaign! You should already be able to see the campaign ribbon in your profile.
