Academy have announced they are releasing a Swedish Infantry Fighting vehicle CV9040B in 1/35th scale. Take a look inside for more details.
This latest release from Academy includes photo etched components and a turned aluminium barrel. Also included are either individual or link and length track links (I cannot be sure from the pictures provided and I do not speak Korean)

I also thought, it was already released some months ago. Perhaps this is an error and mistake, because Hobbyboss annonced their one. http://www.hobbyboss.com/a/en/product/armor/1_35/2012/0106/808.html greetings... Soeren

Yup this is old news. Been out ages, well more than a year, going on two.

Is it retro week on Armorama or something? Between this and the "announcement" of the two-year old Trumpeter M1117, suddenly it's 2010 all over again. Still, at least anybody to whom these kits are news will find a nice selection of aftermarket resin and PE already available for both

I think Darren said in another news thread he was catching up with older new releases so he would have a book mark as to what he had done and not done.

It would appear that you are correct on this Academy release as someone has now provided me wioth a link to an English version of the page. Al regarding the Trumpeter release I also believed this was an old item but it is listed on Trumpeter site as Oct 2011 release! Lastly I would request you cut me some slack as with Jim Rae's current unavailability I am running around like a headless chicken trying to cover everything.

So October 2010 makes it new???? Maybe you should double check some online webstores first, many indicate when a kit in stock was first released. Cheers, Christophe

You see what I mean Christophe I don't even know what year it is. It should read Oct 2011. If nothing else at least members are taking the time to comment.

Hi Guys here is the original boxart On the one Darren posted, you get the mention New Tooling. Maybe Academy modified their original kit while they were working on the C version. Just my guess. Olivier
