Hello,
Yeahwiggie, that is some amazing scratchin' you got goin on! Really looks cool.
This is something I was going to enter in the "Blitzkieg" campaign, but decided against it, because the rules didn't include "Barbarossa" I may work it into the traffic jam I'm currently working on.
I still need to add the draw bars, the beams, and finish up the tackle, then build another LeFH18. I've been wanting to build a tank for nearly two months, but have managed to get side tracked on projects like these. I think I have a wingie thing to build yet too.
Best Regards,
wow! nice work! I was thinking of doing a horse drawn howitzer for the blitzkreig build back when i had some time to dream about such things.
I would like more details on your build if you don't mind - scale, carrage details, where did you get the horses, how are you doing the tackle and draw bars, etc.
thanks in advance, -v-

Excellent looking 251, Ron. The extra detrails on the radio compartment are great and really add life to the area.
Looking forward to see more

Jesper's right! Ron - you're doing great job with cables!
A lot of really nice stuff is coming out here. My progress is quite close to 0... I'm still working with the gun, but I hope I will be able to show some pics after this weekend.

Here is the latest update on my PzJg. I. I have finished up the interior and added some new tools from the spares box.
I have added the first coat of panzer grey and put the whole thing together. The fit is quite bad as the interior does not fit the superstructure. Therefore it is difficult to hold down the superstructure resulting in big gaps at the front and rear of the hull. Nothing that cannot be solved with a little putty though.
I just realised I forgot to change the MP40 on the side armor. Pictures really reveal a lot
More to follow....

the kit I will be building for the Eastern Front Campaign. Will definitely attempt the hairspray method of whitewash on this one. Will have to practice on one of my junkers.

Hej everyone,
Some really nice looking progress pics.
Vanize, Thanks for the comments, the horses all came from the 1/35 Tamiya Gulashkanone kits. 3 of them in fact. Repositioned a couple of the heads. Will be posting more on the horse teams when I get some time to work on them. Thanks again for the kind words and taking the time to look.
Saurkraut, the Styer looks like a very nice chassis. Looks better than the old Tamiya Horch.
SGTJKJ, the Panzerjaeger 1 looks great. The PE is real attention to detail. Keep up the good work.
FredRMA, A junker? Please post WIP pics, been wanting to see this hairspray thing with the winter white wash.
Something that's a WIP, but plan on having the horse teams trudging by it in the dio...
Sorry about the state of the workbench... A dirty workbench reflects ones inner self.........

I've finished the BT-7 in german colours.
I hated the kit anyway...
Will take some time to post the pics, my home computer is wrecked.
the Su-85 got the base paint coat, the decals, wheels done too.
Still have the tracks and equipment to do.

Panzerjager progressStill need to find a good name for the scene. Pondering about this for a while now. I'm always open to suggestions.

Hi Bento,
Sure you can join! Campaign ends December 22nd so you have plenty of time.
To do this you have to go
HERE and click on "ENLIST" button over the list of participants.
You can also find all conditions of this campaign there.
If you want to show your build step by step you can start new build blog but it's enough to show your pictures here.
Showing at least one picture of finished model here or in campaign's gallery is necessary to get a ribbon.
If you have any other questions do not hesitate to ask here or you can PM me.
Have fun!

Hello bento,
Welcome and looking forward to seeing the Soviet Tank destroyer.
Faust,
Liked the quote. LOL! Your viginette is looking great. The figure you've painted is outstanding! Really nice work.

Aaahhh... I sence that the Dutch force is getting stronger in this campaign!!
Welcome Bento. Show us what you got!
Your work is looking great Robert. Excellent!
It is time I got my butt into gear again. I gave the vehicle interior and the figures a basecoat of paint, but I have to finish the painting on the interior before I can get busy on the exterior... + the wheels and tracks on the Zvezdakit are horrible!!! Wheels don't fit their axles and tracklinks have to be sanded down to fit the next one....

Just ran across this. Without wading through 10 pages of posts, is there an overview/list of what's being done? I have numerous EF vehicles underway.

An Image of the Zvezda 1/35 Gaz-AA. Recently completed.
entered several pics in the campaign. Should be getting back to the horses soon.
This is the plan for the beams.
Being relatively new to this forum, Should progress pics be posted elsewhere to reduce the number of pages on this thread?

Hello Bento,
It looks like the SU-85 doesn't have any major fit issues. Have the Tamiya T-34/76 Mod. 43 in the stash. The lower hull looks exactly like the SU-85's. Bee keeping an eye on the SU-85 progress, it will be helpful when the T34/76 hits the production line.
Thanks for the comments,

that might just be right, since the SU-85 is based on the chassis of a T-34.
I haven't found anything wrong with the SU, yet that is
hopefully it will stay like this

Mobius, that is a nice looking truck, kind of like the one still sitting on my uncle's farm. Only it is a Ford, but you could not tell it with all of the rust. Great job Mobius.

Hello Bigrip74,
Thanks for the comments. Interesting fact about the Gaz AA was it was built under license from Ford. It was a copy of the Ford AA truck. Looks like the only thing missing is the Blue Oval. Thanks again for viewing and the comments. Greatly appreciated.

I have to chime in and say that Gaz AA truck looks awesome. The dust really unifys it and the choice of gear fit well. Congrats on that one

Mobious, I agree with all the others. That is a really good looking truck. Great job on the finish and the stowage.
Here is a very small update on my Pz.Jg. I. The fit is not that good around the end and the front of the hull. It requires some layers of putty. Next is some mud on the suspension and some detail painting. More to follow later...

Hello Everyone,
c5flies,
Thanks for viewing and the kind comments, the Gaz AA will be the replacement for the BA-20 built a couple weeks ago. The Zvezda kit is a recommended kit for it's ease of assembly and potential. It was a fun build with no major fit issues that I found.
Thanks again for viewing and the comments...
