Looking good Andrey. I like the weathering. What was your technique?

I should have pics of my build tomorrow.

It`s like hairspray, but without hairspray )) Layer of brown + layer of flat clear + layer of olive drab. Dry. And then destroy top layer with White Spirit. Good in this case, because of wood structure, i think. Maybe too heavy on my taste ))

@Joel Yep its a 1/72. I really wanted to do a 1/48 but this guy was cheap and not bad. I have dreams of the Tamiya 1/32 Zero, Spitfires and new P-51. I did have a 1/48 Oscar which I would have done for this build from Finemolds but I started it already the other week and that would be cheating.

As long as the kit was started after July 1, it's fine.

Got her finished today,a real nice kit,no issues for me except spare tracks don't fit the rack, must be worked on to fit properly on the brackets.I used Tamiya,Vallejo, and MM Paints.weathered with Mig Pigments and washes, also used an oil raw umber wash.Pics aren't the greatest,I tried indoors and outdoors. As always any comments welcome.

So far I did the cockpit amd then got it inside and glued the halves together. I used some tape to give it some extra strength during the curing phase.

Everything so far fitted pretty well. The colours are not completely correct but you see very little of it. I will use a little tamiya surface primer to fill a small gap.

Anthony, great finish your kit looks outstanding
I'm away from my workbench for the week so the only progress that I have made was to get some of the Indy like tracks cleaned up a bit but should be back at it by Monday night

Hi all
a change from tanks and planes
I'm going to build this for a mate at work who picked it up for a fiver at a boot sale last week, looks like fun

the bits

fit of parts is superb apart from Grommit who needed quite a bit of work and filler on the body joint

In primer
I could have got away without painting the body but I was unsure how the decals would set so I found a very good colour match in a rattle can at Halfords.
more pics soon

Back again. Suffered a major set-back as I discovered I was out of cement!!! At least i discovered it...

Anyway: Here are some updates on my Quad:

Test fitting the cabin:

The next step is to make the interior and the driver, and finally the 25 pdr.

Cheers

Nice weathering on the quad.

Build finished. Canopy is getting masked. A little filler going on one small seam. Ready for priming.

Well, I finally finished my M3A1 Stuart ,with the final update being posted in my build thread in the constructive Feedback forum. So now I'm finally ready to start my Strictly out of the Box campaign build; DML's M7 Priest.

Here's a picture of the box with the sprues still in their respective plastic sleeves.

Anthony, thanks for the link. Any and all help to avoid those famous Dragon pitfalls due to poor instructions will be a major help.
