This build took a few weeks with the last few days being pretty busy with it.

Ok so here is the summary. Dragon 1/35 M16 Quad 50 AA. Mostly out of the kit minus a few resin stowage items from a Sherman build last year and some things from a Tamiya Infantry weapons set. Used some of the wifes thread as rope holding the log. Painted with faded OD rather than the regular OD because I thought the regular OD was a bit bold and seemed to fresh. The mud really makes this stand out in person. Combined with the pigments for rust effects and dry mud, wow is all I can say. Pictures just don't do it justice.

I strongly suggest ditching photobucket and use www.imgur.com or the Gallery here at Armorama.

Photobucket is a pain in the ass due to them limiting the bandwith each file can serve before being blocked.

That's odd, I use Photobucket for all of my posts and haven't had an issue linking multiple pics per post yet. I probably just jinxed myself.

@Robert--what size are your pics? I've been resizing mine to 700 pixels on the longest side, or smaller. What method of linking from Photobucket are you using? Copying and pasting the IMG URL into the post has always worked for me.

Whatever method you use, keep them pics coming. It's a good looking build. And you've got me intrigued by mud. I may have to try out that product and method.

I go to the pic in photobucket and click the IMG link and it auto copies to my clipboard. Pretty simple copy paste procedure. Never had that problem before but oh well, life goes on.

The mud was great. I cant remember but I think its around 10 bucks per container. But they are pretty big and should last a while. There are several colors our and a good mixture could really look cool. Cant wait to try it out on some more armor.

The water stain runoff weathering us all but done. Finish the tracks, airbrush some dust, and apply a layer of matte to her and she'll be about done.

I presume that the end date for this campaign is Dec 1. I currently do not have access to a camera. If I may have an extension so that I can show the state of my Panther that would be graciously appreciated. Currently weathering the tank. Thanks. Great finished projects here giving me too amny suggestions for next projects.

With my M39/M45 combo nearly done, I'm also going to toss a Commander Models M1A1 90mm AA gun in the mix. Just got it the other day and I figure I can knock it out in time too...

Little more progress on the lower hull.

Got the hull side & upper inserts on, posed the front two axles, and replaced the AoA bolt/washer detail that was lost in sanding.

Don't mind the wobbly wheels, they are just blutak'd on.
