thanks man....
the building is made of plaster of paris, the pavement is a resin set that i bought, te fuel drum came from a tamiya accessories set.and the lamp post was made from 3 alliminium pipes, and a piece of off-cut resin (you cant really see the top of the lamp post in these pictures, i'll have some other pictures of it soon.

Chris, you can paint the door brown, white, wood-color, or pretty much any color you choose. I've seen pics of various urban areas in Iraq and the colors are pretty varied (within reason). The dio is looking good!

That's a great looking vignette!

Any ideas what to use for some 1/35th scale sand for my project?

Thanks!

Jeff--you can use real sand. Just make sure it is very fine (you may want to sift it to remove the bigger pebbles).

Hi Jeff,

Birdsand for 1/35th scale sand
Pick it up at grocery or pet stores .

Sprinkel onto your base .Use white glue and water diluted down in an atomiser .
Let dry for a day or so and away you go .Its ready to be spraypainted and flat cleared .

Chris, that building looks very good .I like the colours your using .
More photos needed.

Cheers
Michael

Michael,
Simply awesome! From what I see, I can't find anyhting wrong. Can't wait to see what you do with paint. Can you take a stand alone picture of the figure. What parts did you use to make him. I see you used a Warrior head, but what is the rest?

Gijs,
Great job on A11. What pictures are you using for a reference, especially the mine plow. My A11 is still sitting on the shelf.

Its been a long project to get it right .
Thank you Pete and everyone who have helped me to accurately

Thanks guys for the tips on the sand. I want a little wind-blown effect and didn't want it to look out of scale. Not that my camera will pick that up!

Nice looking M2A2 and the M1 as well! I'll try to add some pics if I can get the lighting right. I must convince myself that getting a better camera is in the immediate future.

Michael--that is one great-looking build! I'm really impressed. How did you do the resin turret bustle rack and add-on side rack?

Gijs--That's a very nice M1A1. It's looking way better than the M1A2 I'm building for the "Paint me Yellow" campaign. Can't wait to see it finished.

Michael - the Brad looks great. One thing you may want to change though. The Verlinden CIP is pretty bad. It is rectangular, the actual CIP is square. Tamiya's, Academy's, and Dragon's are all correctly shaped.

Keep up the great work.

Thank you everyone for your feedback .

This campaign has really given me some enthusiasm to get the Brad.finished.
I like everyones work submitted in the forum and the campaign gallery .

Gino, the cip panel will be coming off and I'll use the Tamiya one .

This Bradley will be based on the 2003 advance into Baghdad.
I got he impression that the 3ID vehicles had bucket loads of stowage hanging off everywhere hence the 2 stowage racks .put that down to personal preference

There is also a couple of other things I want to fix up after looking at the photo's so there's still more to come.

Nope, Dispatch/Scout bikes and FAVs were/are not used in OIF.

Mike - For a 3ID Brad wih racks, it needs to be marked as one from 3-15 IN. Only 2BDE, 3ID had the racks, which were locally made in Kuwait and installed on PrePo draw vehicles there. There was only one Bn set of Bradleys in the Kuwait APS, which were drawn by 3-15IN. I did mine in 3-15 markings.

Gino,

Thats it .I will be using that unit for sure .

I centainly hope these unit markings get released by Fine Echlon in
the not too distant future .

Just on another quick note .
I don't suppose there was any units allocated M1114 hummers going into Baghdad
Just to tie my dio up with this as well

Thanks
