Good luck with the shop M8, hope it's a roaring success!

Here is a little update. More tubing will come. The pipes will get more work on them like pipe connectors (flens) And such. And there is going to be tons of cabling and pipes coming from the generator room. The pipes here are not attached properly so they are just for show now.

God day people. Yes i know its been a while, but i have been super busy with my company. So my dio building have gone slow, not going to beat any speed build records that's for sure. But be patient folks, it will be finished One day..
Here is how far i have come. Hope you like it.
The pipes are not attached, they are just layed to see how it will eventually look.
The groundwork above the bunker will get more uneven surface to simulate real scenery.

Hi Jarle
That is really taking shape and looking great. How would it sound if you made the bottom level as a corridor and took the pipes up the wall and hung from the ceiling on hanging brackets along its length.
Stairs could give you a link between the levels with security pass doors and a guard posted.
The other half of the bottom level could be an office or rest area for the guard.
It is great to see the concrete texture coming through.
Liking this.

Thanks guys. Hmm Nige. That looks interesting. I was going to build a super complex generator room that gives some of the power to the room and coolant. But that idea is kinda interesting. It would give it a little personality to it instead just machinery. But could be extremely difficult to cut out that section for the staircase. Since there aint much room to play with. Specially with a saw. Hmm. Gotta check that out.

How about cutting out the corner and adding the stair turned round like this?
Might be easier to cut.

Hehe. Hmm. That does look nice. Back to the drawing board and see if i could come up with some ideas. I could just see it. Concrete floors. Green doors as you drawed. Pipes in the seiling going in multiple directions. Some electrical junction boxes. Maybe some nazi marks here and there. Deff inside the testing room. Maybe a red nazi flag inside the control room. I thought of using vertical wooden panels on the walls in the control room. And maybe around that staircase in the sub section. Hmm.

It's been really interesting watching this develop. Once the Bell is finally in there it's going to be a really imposing peice I think.
Texture on the concrete is also really fantastic.
And theres going to be a sequel to Outpost? Thats awesome I loved that movie.

Yeah i am really excited to start the building of the device, maybe ill go a little my own way as it would have been like an improved version 2.0 of the bell or something.
The movie ( Outpost 2 black sun ) i think will be about what happened there in the same time period as those tapes they found was made, 1945. So i am really looking forward to this one

With an object like Die Glocke you have so much artistic licence, so it should be really fun.
That sounds like a really interesting idea for the outpost sequel/prequel.
So are you going to avoid the temptation to stick some zombie SS in this dio?

Hehehe, zombies would have been awesome But sadly i dont have to much space to spare. It would have been awesome with some kind of staysis chamber for uber soldats somewhere. Hmm. On the ground above the bunker there will be a E-100 tank. But i gotta say the E-100 is HUGE compared to a Russian t34 or any other tank.
And thanks again folks. Any input is much appreciated.

Hmmmm. This is something that just popped in my head. I was thinking about having some storage crates and valuables on the lower floor. And one of the crates semi open with a artifact inside that is identical to something that is from a very known movie. Any one that can guess what?

Hmm, that´s an idea.
Perhaps the artifact will use the surrounding energy and shows some reaction. (magnetic flux or something like that)

Hehe. I think it would create a more mysterious purpose to the whole thing. As the room is purposely made for testing of such objects.

Hey folks.
I cut out the space for the stairs. The stairs are just leaning. Nothing is attached, just for display. Will make a little step down stair to the upper metal platform. And maybe a metal platform on the bottom. But i think i will make some thin wooden walls that are standard indoor walls. To seal of the staircase. I dunno yet, think ill play around with some ideas.
