Thanks to everyone for the nice comments! It is very much appreciated. I still have plans to do something for a display base/vignette, but haven't had time to work on anything. I'll be starting a new project soon which has a hard deadline so I may not get to the base for this Sherman until after that is complete. However, I do plan to post a link in this thread to whatever I decide to do it, as soon as I get to it. Again thanks for the comments and especially for the feedback along the way.
Cheers!

First class work, Professor! The weathering is very realistic and the figure painting is top notch!
Cheers!

Thanks much Sean. I thought I recalled you were doing one for the 761st as well. In retrospect, almost wish I would have picked up the Tasca kit instead...
Hi, Don! GREAT WORK!!! As a confirmed "Shermaholic", I can honestly say that you're doing very good work with such a supposedly "inferior" kit! Yes, the TASCA kits are better than DRAGON's, but with a little bit of elbow grease and forethought as you've done, the various DRAGON US M4 Medium series kits can still be made to shine! Don't sweat over not using a TASCA kit- Most of my M4s are DRAGON kits, and I put A LOT of effort into them, resulting in some pretty successful builds...

Thanks Dennis. As you can see, I eventually got over my Tasca envy!
