Hello to all! I've got on the stash both Wespe's Sd.Kfz. 8 an Revell's DB 10, and some figures from CMK, so something will arrive, in time I expect!

Will "what if" subjects be accepted if they are built onto existing platform vehicles?

Posted: Saturday, October 08, 2011 - 11:38 PM UTC
Oppps! As everybody knows, I must say "Wespe's Sd.Kfz. 8 and Revell's Sd.Kfz 9". Perhaps I'll build the FAMO, as Wespe's offer is a little tricky (Or,maybe both, if I feel mad enough !

Honestly hadn't considered the what if? The only stipulation was the kit must be unstarted. What where you thinking of?

Def not started yet
I was thinking about building a rear tow boom crane onto the back of a modified M2 or M3 Halftrack. This would be in response to the Opel Maultier Field Repair Crane vehicle

Is anyone else excited about the prospect of cutting up a Tamiya Leopard kit to make a Netherlands Beach Armored Recovery Vehicle? It looks like a bullet-proof tugboat on tracks. They've even given them names-- Hercules, Samson, Goliath, and Titan.
Cheers!

let me tell you the truth, we race these things up and down the beach to chase away the tourists so we can enjoy the beach ourselves

I'm really thinking of building the AA Challenger recovery vehicle, found my Osprey book about the Chally builds, and love that kit!
If I was seriously looking to raise the bar..the Trojan ARV....

Now I have motivation to finish the M1070 I have on order before June 2012.
Assuming my preorder comes, count me in.
Sean: I also would love to see the Navistar MRAP Wrecker even if it was my first resin kit

John- yeah..that PE set is like gold! I wish I could;ve scored the tires that Voyager had, supposed to be the most accurate! Guess I'll need to stock up on CA glue for all the PE.
Peter- absolutely the right kit for our campaign!!! Never realized so many kits were available for this kind of build. Be sure to enlist!
I'm still on board w/ the Late MAZ 537- hoping an AM engine comes out before we kick off!
