I was sitting at work and thought about the upcoming release of the M1070 HET. The idea hit me...would there be a interest in doing a campaign based on the vehicles that either haul the mighty MBT's into battle, or the recovery vehicles that return them to the rear for repairs? I was thinking of the supply, fuel,or ammo trucks running the roads.
kits could include the 5 tons all variants, Hemmt's , LMTV family , wreckers, M88 type recovery tanks.. and the HET. Any era ..scale..etc, the main idea os to have fun building .
Any one interested in such a campaign? Thanks for any and all input
Jeff

I really like this one, it gives a home for kits that don't really fit in the other campaigns that normally run here.
Will you allow all scales? I would be considering a 1/72 International or REO.

Its a great idea!!
I have a maz 537 transporter, a m-26 recovery vehicle and a cromwell arv... Currently i am looking for a t-34 ww2 recoveryvehicle what it takes to make one.
Next year is extremely bussy for me. I am full with campaigns (4), in januari i have a new house, in februari my wife delivers my first newborn child .
So i have no time for this one... To bad... But i like the idea dough...
Regards,
Remco

Jeff,
Sounds good to me. I have a few different recovery/maintenance vehicles.
Any ideas on when it would start?

Thanks for the support! I' m really hoping we can get enough people to approve the campaign! I' m hoping a start date around the start of the yr running 6 months .but any ideas or concerns are welcome! The question about scale...anything would be welcome. I' m planning the Maz 537g.. Id allow any support track, truck, etc..pretty open!.
Thanks for the interest ...

Hello Jeff,
If your including braille scale then count me in. I've had a diorama idea for a Diamond T transporter recovering a disabled tank in North Africa for a while now.
Any time next year would be fine for me.
All the best.
Chris

A cool idea, for sure. Can we wait on this until someone makes the Navistar MRAP Wrecker in 1/35th scale and plastic?
That or their MRAP ambulance are things I'd really like on my display shelf someday.

I am interested as I have Legends M88A2 Conversion set that I need to do a build review of, and it would seem to fit right in here.

Anyway, I'm in at #2.
