Looks like an awesome GB ! I will be building the new H Boss M1070 & M1000 Heavy Equipment Transporter Semi-Trailer.
Intention is OOB - but may need to scratch some seat belts and fill out the cab a little bit.
Got a great idea on whats going to be on the back of it ! just want that aspect to be a bit unique - thinking an ISO container and a Toyota hi-lux for fun !
I think Jeff and I had better get started - I cant believe the detail in this kit !
everybody have fun !
cheers
Mark

Yes! What bridgelayer are you planning? I want to build one eventually on the m60 chassis.

Sal- I really like the Tiger!! The derrick looks very detailed, typical Dragon!
Vance- great idea for a bridgelayer, looking forward your build
Well, Christmas is settling down...time to clear some room on the bench for the Maz!!!

Jeff I'd like to very much join your campaign, however I don't have gallery space left. Would hot linking my photos from webshots be good enough.
Happy Modeling,
Joe

Joe, I learned that you can delete old gallery photos, so you can create more space. That's what keeps me alive here. Just go into edit, and there's a toggle to delete the photo. I only post mandatory final photos to the Kitmaker gallery-- the in-progress photos are linked from Flickr.

From my own experience, hotlinking from webshots doesn't work. You can either use another image host or delete pics from your kitmaker gallery.

Hey guys as for uploading pics to the gallery, for the past week, every time I have tried, I get the following message:
Server busy, try again shortly.
It does not seem to matter what time of day I try, I simply cannot access it.

That's also what I've been experiencing lately but not today.
Maybe already asked, but will CUCV type projects be acceptable here? I think I changed my mind on the modified M2/M3 halftrack what-if build

The CUCV question has puzzled me! Looking thru wikipedia, it served as transport for radio gear, range use, and just a basic truck. I didn't have any experience w/ these during my service ...anyone chime in about its support role?
I'm willing to allow it, just looking for more info on its use.

cool Heliman. thanks.
I'd also like more info on these vehicles.
What were they reffered to before the 1970s?
So far the internet info I see says the CUCV term started in the 70s - early 80s.
My project is a US Navy PU from the 1950s

Only a few more days before this GB kicks off. Really looking forward to starting my. M-49 fuel truck and seeing all the other builds also. This is one of my favorite category of vehicles ans have pulled several more from the stash to do after i finish my first entry. Don M.

Me too, Graeme. I understand there's a problem that the admins are working on, and it's been several days now.

Don- sounds like we're all getting excited!! My wife is tired of hearing about it already.. So your building the M-49, I just located a M35A2 and M149A2 water trailer from PSM . This combo I drove numerous times during training..actually " learned" to drive standard on a duece....

I wanted to go along with the MAZ on this one, but I'm currently building for 2 campaigns plus all the unfinished Campaign kits from this year... this adds up with 9 kits...
Adding another huge box, also I should do my T-55 to go along (I'm still searching for some extras for this one), I guess I'll pick a somple BergeTiger for this one, I'm not sure yet.
I wish I had more free time these next few months and carry on with my builds
Anyway I'm still wondering in this plastic choices for 2012..
take care and happy builds everyone !!

John- that huge box the MAZ resides in is pretty overwhelming!!! I couldn't even imagine what the M1070 box must be like ....but will find out !
The Bergetiger is still a very interesting build..looking forward to your build!
Two days to go! Hope my LHS received their glue order....eek!

only 12 hours and 39 minutes left for me. I took a quick look in my AA Ward LaFrance box and there are a LOT of parts. But the casting looks okay so this might be a fun project
