Hi Dave, re the brolley I was referring to an actual WW2 photo. It might be in one of the three venerable Panzer Colours volumes (mine are in storage) & maybe it’s a Stug commander in his cupola under his open umbrella. Where's Frenchy?!

I think Erwin’s on the right track boom tish it’s the way I tell’em…anyhoo if the Panther was rolling down the street and swerved hard left through the wall, it would have likely done even more damage than what a much lighter construction bulldozer probably did in this image…



But as I queried before if the Panther reversed into the yard & hit the wall, all the debris on the undamaged pavement makes perfect sense… OK I'll shut up about trees AND roads now

It doesn’t come up on an image search for me either Dave, I’m pretty sure the tank/stug commander’s grinning in the photo I’m thinking of. As for the skid marks I must admit it looks like the ‘dozer (?) had been doing burnouts/donuts in that image (I’d like to have seen that) but hope it helps unless/until there’s a better example. Re rain effects, I suggested white glue because it can provide a range of sheens, from virtually neat to heavily diluted - even so I think I’d be averse to risking it too, particularly as it’s practically irreversible

Less so with rubber track pads of course,but the WWII German tanks were pure metal.My experience was with curbs and our tanks and apcs hitting the curbs while turning and the edges of the treads chipping and breaking said curbs. This drove the Germans wild,specially when they just had new curbstones installed and we decimated them ! So,yes,whitish grindy marks are in order and that last pic showing the curved marks was perfect for your vehicle turning off the road.
