Hi Colin,
Great idea with this device for mounting track. Are these Magic Tracks, or any other.

update: more paint on + details . Decided to rip the 2 bridge pieces off & use the rubber tarp that came with the kit. Started painting an SS Officer to add to it (he is not done yet). If you look closely, he is cross eyed..that is not a painting mistake..he has shell shock..he also has a bad twitch. lol. I detailed the interior with various stuff..ammo crates, an extra radio set w/headphones. GI Gear...a pair of nice rubber boots on the side along with duffle bags.
Still lots of work to do.

Thanks Pawel, they are the kit supplied tracks, a pain to get off the sprues and clean up but come together very nicely. Gott he idea for the jig from Mark (Naamibaru?) - earlier in this thread he showed a special jig he built and I bastardized it on the cheap ;-).

Update: used Dark Yellow Vallejo Acrylic wash, Mediterranean Dust Vallejo Acrylic wash, Mig Dark Brown wash...added scraps/chips...did some dry brushing, added decals...next up..pigments & more drybushing...
PS- The top , side & bottom halves are not glued together yet, that will be the 2nd to last stage...after it is glued I will touch up..then I can move onto my "Bronco Only" & "Dragon" campaigns. Plus finish of the Fall of 40 campaign.
For those wondering...that is a Tamiya Matilda & the turret /barrel to the Tamiya Cromwell on my desk lol. I have like 8 kits on the go.
I'm trying fella's...I'm trying. I have to learn patience...

Hi Sal, yes, that's the kit in your picture. It's loaded with all sorts of infantry goodies. Land mines, anti tank, anti personnel mines, boxes of grenades, demolition plungers, flame thower..plus 4 figures, one guy is a flame thrower guy.

Mike ,, ,This one is a conversion i did ,,the 251/23 was made as a kit by Dragon as it turns out but thats all good ..i wanted to build this anyway .
Turns out only one ever made ..no known pics of it in combat if it ever saw combat and its the last authorized variant of the 251 family .
I am slowly building the entire 251 series of vehicles and i have 8 so far now including this one ..theres another 7 sitting in the stash

Can never have too many 251s! ... Wait, did I just say that? ... I don't have a single one yet! I can't make up my mind on which one to build first.

well there is 23 versions to choose from
I would suggest one that looks mean and nasty ..251/22 with the Pak 40 or the 251/21 Drilling ,, or now this is cool ..the 251/17 with 20mm Flak gun ,,they can all be gotten from Dragon except the Drilling ..AFV CLub does that one .
ok so i just made it harder for ya sorry

I've been quietly watching this one for a while, and I gotta say, that's one mean looking 251. Is it the AFV Club kit? Or Dragons?
