mhh... I´d liked to reduce the numbers of campaigns I´m enlisting... but I´ve just got the Tristar Panzer IV Ausf B and the D/Tauch... and I hear them both crying ... so I´m in

Sounds good,I was in on a Workhorse Campagn back in 2011,but it would need to be late this year or early next.I got a late Jagdpanzer IV to do.

I'm in for a late year start.
Reasonable what-ifs allowed? I had planned to build a what-if 1946 Panzer IV/ausf K or L with sloped armor for the current What-if campaign. I've seen line drawings for a K, though none ever were built. I've got two other builds in-progress for that one.
If allowed I might move that one over here. If not allowed it's not a big issue.

Right now you're in for it John . This has to take off as I am going to build my Syrian Panzer IV for this . The one I always wanted to show as a now and then build - half Syrian / half SS .

By "any variant", are we thinking this could include non-gun-IV, such as BergePz-IV or jagdpanzer IV or brummbar (StuPa IV)? IF so, Yay!
I have many IV - based kits and need to build another IV - something sometime, so I'll aim to be IN on this - better so if it's to be starting LATE in 2014.

John, If there might be an issue with the sloped armor one I'll shift it back to the What-If Campaign. I've got an abundance of what-if projects and if I can place them in other campaigns that's great. If not, it's no big deal.
I think it pushes the spirit of the campaign a bit, but isn't too bad. But if my what-if is allowed then you have to let them all in. And then we have Panzer IV with a cow launcher...or mounting a death ray. I actually have a death ray panzer IV project on the backburner using an old Dragon Hummel chassis. Along with a steampunk panzer idea.
I'll just withdraw the idea and we'll avoid the what-if issue entirely. Anyway, there's plenty of real Panzer IVs out there to draw upon. Maybe a Romania ausf. H.

ok Alex, you opened and closed the door.
So NO death-ray Panzer IV or cow launcher, or any other farm animal launcher..
We stick with Panzer IV variants. I'll list them later.

I have 3 for build.
Tamiya Mobelwagen, Trumpeter Bruckenleger 4 or Waffentraeger 4 (all spare parts + academy recicled hull)
the 3 models appears in the Spielberger book so have some history accuracy (include the last)
Sorry but I build that version in 2005....

Whew! Saved by the bell! No "Doppel Kuh-werfer auf Fahrgestelle Pz.Kpfw. IV Ausf X" will suddenly appear HERE, after all!
Pleased to see that we'll keep it real and "just" limited to the many many extant variants of the work-horse IV! Not, of course, that a double cow-launcher on a Pz. IV hull wouldn't be rather cool! I want to see that one somewhere!
Wherever that "somewhere" is or will be... I think I have a budding idea of my own for that campaign... "Trebuchet auf Dampf-Panzer IV"! Ever since I launched a toilet 326 yards with a trebuchet back in the 1970's, I've wanted to build another one!

I may be able to do this one. I have my build, for IPMS Nationals to finish and a couple of campaigns. I'm really wanting to complete a couple of panzer iv's. Actually, I'll be building two more, for other campaigns. Build and sell. Build and sell.

No problem John. I could see that really get out of hand so better just keep it centered on real vehicles.
Zeke, That's similar to what I was thinking about. For the turret I was thinking more of a downsized Panther styled turret with a cast cupola and no side hatches. I'd probably do a hatch in the rear.
Bob, the cow launcher was a weapon from the old South Park game on SNES. It was a bazooka with a cows heads sticking out of the front. You'd fire it and it would impale itself around the head of the targeted person. They'd run around with this bovine beret on their shoulders. Not really sure why that particular weapon came to mind when I typed that one up. I was originally going to go with a pumkin chunkin panzer but didn't.

Start-up in OCT or NOV sounds doable by me! I always start into these things "fashionably late" and way after the smoke is long gone from the starter's gun, so whatever month you prompt and timely types jump off from, I'll be along sometime later on!
But as my Pz. IV stash is basically ALL Dragons... and we know those can take a little longer than a Tamiya does (and I'm a slooow builder, so I'll figure even longer than most others would take...)... better make the campaign time generously long!
