'Tug of War' update.
I managed to get some base coat on Ivan and Hilda over the past week or so.
Here's the super-wobbly assembly and temporary base dry-fit. ... Whew!
Getting there.
Cheers!🍺

Bryan,
Hate to be the bearer of bad tidings but the gas tube on that AK should be above the barrel. You have it below and above the grenade launcher

Mike Hilda looks superb, I don't rate the Germans chances at all.
Great looking figs mate.
Mike 2 they are coming along nicely.
Steve that figure looks very good mate, like the hornet addition, but very well painted.

I know we have half a year for this campaign, which by all means is plenty of time, but with other commitments, I doubt I can meet the July 1st deadline. Perhaps if the deadline was extended to the end of August, I may be able to complete this campaign. If not, I might have to withdraw.

still waiting for live resin's heads to arrive. honestly i doubt if it will arrive before the deadline, so i guess i'll go on with the original heads if it hasn't arrived yet. all my time is used for gunpla, lately

I haven't forgotten about this one. I haven't posted any progress pictures on the Trumpeter PMC figures. I started late and probably won't post any thing until I ma certain I can finish.

Thanks Steven! The figs are from Dragon Desperate Defense Korsun Pocket, Gen 2. And then I've added a Hornet head. Overall very nice detail and I will definitely build the other figs in the set with idea of setting up a small diorama someday down the road.

I have been working on my figures but I have not taken photos. I've pretty much completed my Miniart 1/16th French Knight and I am now painting camo patterns on my Tamiya 1/16 German WWII Infantryman. I'll try to take photos and post them here.

Hi folks,
Made a start on the ICM British Infantry.
Nice figures and I like the kit. Only niggle is all three infantrymen have a similar type pose with the left leg forward.
As I intend to use these with the Tamiya Infantry I changed the heads and added the missing cross straps on the back. The figures come with nice packs but I though I'd leave them off, (use elsewhere), as they will then more match the Tamiya figuers.
As they will all be holding SMLE with bayonets I removed the handle from the bayonet scabbard.

Hey all! Great job to all who's been plugging away at their figgies
Me? Not so much, in between a pretty substantial renovation back home and work there is no time. Tbh my entire workbench is packed up as builders go at it down in the basement...
Is anyone else than Peter up for an extension to ~September 1?

Some really nice work coming out here chaps. I'm quite tempted to build something else as I have another dio in the pipeline. Early days yet but I'm building a jeep which is under new management for the Green Machine campaign . I've got a Kubelwagen driver somewhere in the hellhole under the stairs so I may use him as the driver with a bit of modification.

I'd be interested. I might get my one fig done by July but most definitely would if there was an extension. Prob would start some others from the same set as well.
thanks,
Chris
