I know we discussed this towards the end of UB campaign last year but I better follow the formal procedure.
so the proposal is for UB15 any incomplete build, any subject, is elegible to join. I propose it should run from Feb 1st to Dec 31st just for a small break.
Can I get 10 expressions of interest to get this campaign off the ground please?
Thanks
sean

Sign me up. Once school breaks for the summer I can make some progress on a kit that has been languishing for some time now. It is a Dragon 1/72 AAVP7A1 that I am backdating to an LVTPX12/LVTP7 and converting it to an LVTEX3 with the M551 Sheridan turret with 105mm main gun. All the cutting and hacking has been accomplished but very little of assembling has occurred as yet.

Howdy Y'all
I'd be interested, I didn't finish my entrant for last year. I'm in.
Take care,

I'll be in. LOTS of unfinished business - some older than others and all, I think, qualified for this next "get 'er done" effort!
Not that 2015 is actually shaping up to have more modeling time available! But hope springs eternal!

I'm in as well. Actually my goal is to clear out my unfinished shelf this year before starting anything new. Most of my unfinished kits are from 2010-2012 and I have an entire shelf of them.

OK! A "entire shelf of them"... That could be a LOT of shelfers, if the shelf is of any size!
Completing the whole lot? That's a laudable goal, indeed! I think that folks completing a whole shelf of S-Q's deserve an over-sized award!
To be sure - That's not any altruism "for the other guy" nor any snideness directed at the owner of an unseemly backlog... Mine aren't filling any shelf... but there are some 17 S-Q residing in neat little plastic shoe-boxes in a cabinet just waiting for an opportunity to come forth and... shine? I think I'll be putting in for an over-sized award too!

Yes, an entire shelf:
Fortunately most are left over from unfinished group builds (Panther, US Halftracks, et al) and are probably 50% complete. Others are fully assembled (ZLC2000 C&C) just need paint and weathering.
Just realized that my 234/4 (Dragon, not C/H) is in there. That's my build for the 8 x 8 Campaign... so it's not included in the tally.

Matt;
If that's your whole "unfinished shelf", looks like we might be in a tie! "17 - all"
But, wow! Do you actually keep those partials still in their boxes? Looks good and certainly enables the viewer to readily pick the next shelfie for some effort! Plastic shoe-boxes with small tape labels "depersonalizes" things and adds a level of anonymity, enabling some shy items to hide "in plain sight"!
And yeah, get all those finished and painted in this year and I really do think you should get something more than just a little "medal" at the end!
Maybe the campaign leader will organize some sort of "quantity-based" awards-system!
Start finishing, mate!

Yes, I'm a little OCD. I keep them in the boxes since most of them are in subassemblies right up until the very end.
Case in point. This little gem was from the Tank Destroyer Campaign of 2010. This was taken September 27, 2010 and left until last month:
Finally got off my butt and finished it up:
That ZLC2000 in the box? Looks like this right now:
Been that way for over a year, since I couldn't decide if I was man enough to try a digital camo scheme or the regular box art camo.
That is how most of the kits in those boxes are. Past the halfway point, but then I just lose interest, or that blasted real life thing gets in the way...

Like many here I suspect, I have far too large a collection of boxes of shame, so this year I have resolved to work through as many of them as possible (please not just one like the last campaign turned out)

I'd like to join in as well...Missed too many GB deadlines last year and having the 2015 Unfinished Business GB is a good way of sharing my unfinished builds and learn more modelling techniques from the collective...
