That is a lot of wheels, Daniel. Looking forward to see this beast take form.
Ron, the side of tracks you are showing us looks nice.
If you feel the rust bon the tracks are too much you can give the tracks a heavy drybrush with gun metal followed by a lighter drybrush with steel. that is quick easy and should tone it down quite a bit. just a suggestion.
The Sherman seems to be leaning to one side or is that just the angle of the picture?

Thanks for the suggestion Jesper. After, I took the pictures I finished touching up the tracks and then dry brushed them with steel paint. I'm happy with how they look now, I usually only go for a new, clean look on my models so this was a bit new for me. As for the tank looking tilted, the bottom of the box I placed the model on was caved in a bit. I did notice that both tracks tilt inward on the bottom, I think that is because the Bronco tracks that I used don't fit the kit's sprockets that well. With the trouble I had with getting the tracks in place I will live with it I put a flat coat on the Sherman tonight and plan on taking some finished pictures to upload to the gallery tomorrow

Well that's me done. The Sdkfz 250 which had been sat in a box half done is finally completed and the Sdkfz 250/9 which was an old build has been repainted. The DML 250/1 was a nice kit but the instructions are crap. The most annoying part of it is the decals as the SS runes are in two parts (must be so they don't upset the German market?) which makes them very fiddly. I don't think the average German modeller is going to be offended by SS runes in a kit seeing as they're building the kit in the first place. I'm glad I've got these two done now as they're going in my Arnhem dio which is not far off completion now. The figs are all done as are the buildings I was just waiting for these before I start putting the final scene together.

Hi Karl,
Both your Sd.kfz.250 are awesome. Nice build and very good finishing.
The wounded guy inside makes me sad. Pls send immediately a 251/8 before too late...

Thanks Giovanni, I quite enjoyed myself finishing the Sdkfz 250 off as it's been sat unfinished in my stash for years . My main problem is I have another idea while I'm building something then get sidetracked and stuff goes on the backburner..lol. It's not very often I build vehicles as I mainly do figures but I did enjoy this. Took a while to get the crewman in the right position and had to do quite a bit of surgery to get him to fall right in an enclosed space. The breen of his smock looks quite vivid in the pic but it is quite subdued in reality. I may have a look through my stash for another project as my Arnhem ones almost done

I have been working on this Pz.Kpfw.IV on and off for a few years. The base kit is a Gunzie Sangyo I bought in late 1992. I added a lot of details. Verlinden interior, Voyager photo etch and some parts scavenged from a

Irvin,
That's a real beauty, almost a shame to paint it after all this work!
Carry on and keep sharing the pictures.
