Hey, a communications wire. How original! 😉
Really just stuck that there for the pic. I have something else in mind.

Looking good, Jerry
I need to get back into a couple of projects and this might just be the inspiration I need. Look forward to further progress

Speaking of Canadians I have a future project concerning them. The Battle of Putot. Aweful thing. Same time as the victory at Bretteville. Not as pretty though.
J
Putot was a bit rough, although what followed to some of those involved was worse. Grim.
It's an interesting subject though and one that, like a few of the events in that sector, seems somehow overlooked and overshadowed by others.
Cheers

Yes,Putot was over run but recaptured later. The Infantry attack was successful for the HJ unlike the armor attack further east on the same highway. And then there were the POWs. I think the wrong German was hung for that one.

Hi. Loving this unfold. Sorry if this has already been answered but is the guy in the fox hole a full figure or a half? One of the vignettes I'm playing around with has a foxhole but by making it deep enough for a full figure, I've had to massively increase the depth of the whole base.

Is 'Custom Dioramics' still around? I'd forgotten all about their great stuff, until I saw them here.
BTW: Great work, per usual, Jerry.

Full fig. but only the area around the hole is thick. The rest of the base is about quarter inch thick.

short break from the 1/35 scale real estate development. I began one of the denizens that will playing the deadly game of hide and seek in St Manvieu.
Dragon kit legs and arms from 3 different sets,Tamiya torso and Enfield,Hornet head. Cut off the hands and re-positioned them. Rough cut is over. Now the putty and sanding for the basic shapes, then the details.

Looking great as always, but I'd advise him to clean his boot, as there seems something to be stuck underneath... If the CSM sees him like this, he's in for trouble...

Jerry
Once again you've captured the drama perfectly
And now there's a PIAT, an unfairly maligned piece of equipment IMHO, then it's looking even better
Keep it up!!
Cheers
