I prefer the first ribbon. The banner across the text in the second ribbon makes it harder to read.

Welcome aboard Walt and Marc

Jeffery - there must be a speedy little 1/48 kit out there you can do for this campaign. There's VW bugs/kubels, jeeps, even the Rest Models Werhmacht with horses

Got my kit in the post yesterday so did a bit last night on it. Hope it doesn't matter that it's not pictured unstarted (could have taken a photo of the box...). Sorry for the craptastic quality, will use a proper camera for further updates. I'm hoping to have this done by the end of the holidays.

Nik,
Rookie mistake. Hold off on construction! The campaign is only forming now. The start is not until March 1!
That looks like a cool kit though, figure and all. I guess 1/48 is a good scale for a heavy tank that still fits on a shelf!
Cheers,
Sean H.

Drats! I should read the fine print first, shouldn't I? No worries, I'll do one in March as well. Finished the build as well tonight, just a few little things to sort out on it.

No worries Nik, You can include it in a dio with another one for the campaign

Mike! cool to see you here. Can't wait to see what you build!

Jason & Zon - welcome back to another 1/48 campaign.

Looking forward to seeing some builds - it's torture to have to wait until March. That's why I'm in 3 other campaigns right now lol

It's the file format, how it's coded. You can just open it and "save as" GIF. Sometimes you can get away with renaming it and changing the .jpg to .gif but this doesn't always work.

Greg, I will join up too. Have so many choices it'll be hard to pick, but surely something will appeal to me. Now to have a word with Pat Johnston.....

Yea Bruce! Don't forget that awesome firefly step-by-step article Pat did to get some pointers too. No pressure on your build. Are you thinking Comet by chance??? I got a Crusader calling me back to work right now. Have fun

Gentlemen,
Enjoyed the last 1/48 campaign, so here I am for another go. What to build? I am leaning towards something Sherman-ie. Maybe the M10, Firefly or to try one of the Hobbyboss Shermans? Does anyone have any feedback on the Hobbyboss sherman kits? I have not seen one yet.

Thanks,
Stephen (Minas-Ithil)
