Konrad - that's ok. You made that awesome panzer III so you have a good reason to lose focus here I think I'll start up another 1/48 campaign right after this and then you can pick up where you left off on the Sherman.
Stefan - The jeep is looking swell! You can make it

What is the "procedure" for finishing? Do you just post pictures labeled "finished"?
Sorry, I'm a rookie at this..........

Good Morning. You must login and then upload your pic(s) to the Kitmaker gallery for the campaign. The pics must be 800x600 or less. I use photobucket to resize; download to my computer, then upload to the Kitmaker Gallery. Kind of a pain

Patrick - I really like your Cromwell, awesome stuff! Try a smaller resize picture and it should work, I think photobucket is 640x400 or something. Just do one to experiment. Maybe Gary our editor will come by and figure this out too. I can add it if it fails again.
Reminder End of campaign Friday night (unless someone wants more time???)

Ok, IM DONE!!!!
Got the files posted to the Gallery.
It really should state the max file size is about 640 x 480 to keep people from getting confused. It states a max file size in Bytes now (dont remember the exact number), but my original pics were under that limit and wouldnt post.
Anyway, it was fun and look forward to the next one

The gallery kicks out any photos over the max file size. I've uploaded 1024x768 with no problems. All of my workbench photos (and review photos for staff) are at 800x600, which is the preferred size for articles, etc. If you have an image editor (not Windows Photo Viewer) you can compress the file size without losing much quality. That's the key.
And your Cromwell looks great!

Whoa! I made it just in time! No dirt on this one for now (came right off the boat...), that will be added whe I do the dio for the next campaign to blend it all in...
Thanks for another great 1/48 scale campaign!
Cheers!

Stefan-----Great work on the Jeep. A simple subject that you really brought to life and made look extremely realistic.
Patrick-----Stunning Cromwell to say the least.
Burak-----Beautiful Puma and great weathering job over the Dark Yellow. Very nice indeed.
Zon----Love the Jagdtiger...AKA Bunker on Tracks. Very cool ambush scheme and I like the missing side skirts. Nice touch.
Best wishes, Ian

Well, I'm calling this one done. It isn't perfect but I think I learned a few things that will certainly apply to whatever I work on next.
Decals applied:
Trying out oil filters for the first time.
And the two photos of the complete model. My photo setup is well, not set up, so apologies for the quality.
I would like to build a diorama base for this at some point, which would probably entail me touching up the weathering a bit and splashing some more mud on. For now though, I'm going to go ahead and call it done.

Burak - congrats and enjoy your vacation. That's a. nice Puma. Im thinking I needtry one soon.
Zon - coming along great. I asked Gary for a one week extension so that big jadgtiger can cross the finish line
Miniflea - congrats. The Hetzer came out great. Oils are becoming my new friends too

Ian, Greg, Zon, thanks you all. I liked this scale very much. Its larger surface did not annoy to my brush painting much than the 72s. If there is a second campaign, my new 48-scale AFVs are on way.
Later, I will buy another Puma to try some techniques with camo.
And Zon, I liked that though cat very much.

I already have my next one figured out. It will be the whirbelwind with the Yak fighter in the drink. I've never done a parachute before so will have to investigate that one. I'll look forward to that start date before beginning work on the kits.
Sal - you have to give it a try, we're not talking 1/72 here. It's the same scale as the aircraft but it's just they have tracks in place of wings
Ian - gotta agree. I look forward to seeing new stuff from everyone
