Jeff, what's that in the background you are using to hold the small parts for painting?

Zon... Thanks,I know you can do the same
Pete... Thats a very high tech. small parts holder. It's a lenght of wood strapping with some holes drilled almost all the way through, with the parts held to the toothpicks with some blu-tac.Like I said,VERY high tech. I've got 4-5 pieces made up for just such tasks. I am using that rack to hold My fuel and water cans for the 1/48th Puma, which I will be getting back to as soon as I finish up this little guy.Jeff T.

Now that I have read 12 pages of posts to get caught up I can say WOW! A lot of great builds going on.
I have made some progress on the trailer and have painted the resin tracks.

Patrick- WOW! Hw did you get those intricate shapes on the rear fenders?
Marc - if you use 'img' instead of 'url' your pics will show up. It's coming along nicely and glad to see those tracks getting ready to go on.

Zon/Greg,
Thanks for comments on the fenders. They are not really that hard to mess with. The Eduard set makes them very easy to form. The thing that bothers me most is the time taken to fiddle with the PE. It has kind of soured my enthusiasm for the build, but I will slog ahead.
It was actually harder to dig out the molded hull mount MG from its armour casing and add the detail back in. All those tiny grab handles on the rear deck weren't much fun either.
My next build I am determined to be OOB (mostly )

I hear you patrick, OOB is under-rated. My PE tolerance is up to 4 parts per build lol.

I like OOB too. Kits are getting so they cost so much that I look for ones that come with PE and thats what I use.Jeff T.

Aloha All,
some more progress on the Jagdtiger. Assembled the tracks except for a couple of key breaks to get them off for painting. I also experimented with removing some of the fenders. Then I got cute and melted one trying to "dent" it, so had to cut it off too. BTW: those tiny masses in the commanders hatch and drivers hatch are the figures. Pretty dwarfed by the tank. What a beast this thing must be IRL.

Very nice Zon...............the size of that vehicle is unreal. It's like a bunker with an engine in it. No wonder they kept blowing up transmissions.

Ian: It truly is a monster. I also read the engine was the same as for the Panther, so totally underpowered for this beast.
Jeff T: I'm thinking I might need another vehicle next to it for additional scale. The figs just disappear.
Jeff S: what are you building? I think I missed it if you already mentioned it.

Outstanding build, Mateusz!! Your vehicle is expertly done, every detail. I'd be curious to see how you built the surrounding landscape...are there pictures up here that I just didn't see? And that figure...wow!! You've done a fantastic job...well done!

Yeah, I announced this on Thursday, April 12:
I need to get busy, huh? So far the cockpit and figures have been assembled. Not much to report as 'other things' have got in the way.
And Mateusz ... you should store that away, saving it and enter it in as many contests as possible! That is gorgeous and it deserves to be put under glass until then!

Zon - the build of this monster is looking quite good and I like you're giving scale to it by adding other elements like the figures.
Matejson - WOW! you did such a great job on that gmc and the base is very professional. I like all the Tamiya bits used. Congrats!!
Jeff - we need you to get the chopper flying!

Made some progress on the MK XV Seafire this weekend. The Fleet Air Arm camo is on and most of the sub-assemblies are done. Hopefully I will be able to do some panel-line work this week.

Mateusz: A wonderful build. Looks awesome.
Jeff S. I recall now. Should be fun with that old kit. The Da Vinci looks cool too.
Ian: getting close to done. Looks good.

Well, should be further ahead than this, but I do have the interior primed and tested the fit. The two halves are not attached yet, checking the fit and must add the main shaft.
I know now why I have been hesitant on coming back to it. There's more flash and sanding to work on than you can shake a stick at! That and multiple numbers are used on parts to have to sort out so it's a slow plan but an oldie and a goodie.
