Hi Gentlemen,

Hi Craig - Thanks bro! Hope your getting some sleep!

Cpt. C. - I live in Mckinney. I will be at the IMPS show on the 19th. Im looking forward to it. I would like to meet you.
Heres a picture of me, im hard to miss. I know, I know! Ive been told i always look pissed off. I guess my face is always mad at me.

Anyways, thats me!

HI Jeff T. - Thanks man! On the paint, im going for this look here.

Thats what im shooting for anyways.

Hey Jeff S. - On the seats i painted them with Vallejo Flat earth. and then used Tamiya Buff to put a little lightness in the center areas. when dry i airbrushed a dark brown oil wash or filter whatever you want to call it over them till i was satisfied. The next day i future glossed and pin washed them. When i flat coat them i think they will look good. well see.

Hey, my bro Phil! - Thanks man, you know i cant do this without the FORCE! What would the young Padawans think of Master. However i must admit to everyone, Phil already knows. I was ambushed By the Sith at Wal-Mart earlier this morning. Though i managed to defeat them, the FORCE was drained from me and i was quite exhuasted when i arrived home. Therefore no modeling was accomplished today.

PHILLYS!!! Oh man! Thems is fightin werds.

Hey Jeff,

It was taken a couple years ago at the Patton museum. Me and my nephew went to Gettysburg and stopped in before they moved all the armor to Ft. Benning Ga. The unrestored Stug was my favorite one. It still has waffel zimmerit left on it. Very cool!

Hey Gary,
Yeah, I'd be willing to meet. I live in Rowlett, east of Dallas. Only 10 min drive to the Mesquite Rodeo Hall. PM me and we can make arrangements. I'll be the one with one leg, got a prosthetic on though. lol cool pic of you with the StuG. I was at the Ft. Knox museum waaay back in 1986. When were thay moved to Ft. Benning? I was stationed there off & on between 1983 & 2007. Never heard they moved to Ft. Benning though. Look forward to meeting with you.

Hi Cpt. C. Sosebee,

When we were at the Patton museum they had already taken 6 tanks from the concrete Pads outside the Museum. luckly they hadnt started moveing the the ones inside. From what i understand everything has been moved to Ft. Benning aswell as the aberdeen exibits. I just hope they take great care of the Tanks and restore alot of the aberdeen tanks that were in sad shape. I have PM you and ill see you at the show.

Ive made minimal progress today. Hope to getmore done tomorrow. heres a few pics of her right now.

Thanks for looking fellas!

Hello Gentlemen,

I have made progress adding some handels and the like on the radio and reworked part of the radio frame. The seams were very unsightly. Im going to start creating wires and cables. They might not be 100% accurate but should be convincing.

More to come!

Hi Gentlemen,

Steven, Craig, and Phil - Thanks for the kind words fellas. I appreciate that.

I have managed some more progress. Im just kinda trying to figure out my how to proceed and not get ahead of myself and make a mistake. Got alot on my mind lately and modeling helps but i feel the FORCE has been put in a box somewhere and i forgot where i put it. I tried to post earlier but the site was down. I already went to bed but couldnt sleep so i said what the heck, ill go ahead and post some pics.

Thanks for looking fellas.

Gary, yes, the radio does look convincing. When looking at how to do a radio for my little SdKfz4 I came across this site, which you might like - great picture of the man himself sitting with his collection: LA6NCA's WW2 RADIO PAGE

I like your simple method for doing the seats. I'm also a bit jealous of your styrene tracks and the half-way acceptable Rommel figure, unlike my Airfix version with rubbery tracks and bizarre figures. (It's almost like they got Rommel mixed up with Goering, and his driver looks like he's suffering from malnutrition, probably because Rommel's been eating all the pies.)

Hi Gents,

John, and Neal - Thank you fellas. Im happy you like it.

Matthew - Thanks for the link. The Warriors Rommel isnt exactly a top shelf figure but its much better than the kit Rommel. Im going to attempt to piece together an extra figuer from 2 or 3 different Dragon figure sets. Well see how that goes.

Hi Ron,

Im happy you may have been inspired to dust of the Dragon kit and model on.

Once again i have made good progress. Still need to seal everything with future clear. and do some washes. then im going to paint the radio clear it and washes on it aswell. Have to make some changes on a couple things like the mp40 clip bag. its too yellow when it dried, but over all im happy so far.

Thank for looking Gentlemen!

Gary
