Hi Gentlemen,
I am starting this build today. I will have to scratch build some things as there will be no aftermarket goodies other than my Rommel figure. If there is anyone who would like to contribute any info and references, you are most welcome. Im going into this build not knowing much about Sd.kfz.250.
Thanks for looking.
Gary

Gary. Mega....I'm hoping to finally build the ancient Airfix kit of this for the upcoming Airfix nostalgia campaign, so I'm keen to pick up tips and - if I can help, I will (unlikely).

Dont worry Phil, I cant have the young padawan catching Master Windu slippin and slackin!
John, i hope to teach the old dog some new tricks! Im doing away with alot of the moulded on stuff on the fenders and recreating it. As well as a few other things that look like snap tite kit parts. It will be fun!

Wow, talk about timing. Just got mine out about two weeks ago. Building strait from the box but I'm using parts from the same kit I purchased back in 1979, yes, 1979, to add to it. The original kit is long gone but I still have a few parts in the spares bin. I got the Aber PE set, designed for the Dragon kit, but I'm not going to use it and may just sell or trade it.

Lets see some pics G. Jeff T.
Hello Gentlemen,
Mike, James - Hi fellas, Glad you stopped in to have a look. James, with you, me, and Matthew, we should be able to figure this thing out pretty well. Have you started your kit yet?
Mr. Jeff T. - Here are a couple pics per your request. so far its just what i expected. The little fiddley wheels didnt line up with the tracks perfctly and i had to cut off some guide horns off the tracks to fit properly. And the tracks were just barely long enough to meet up. so i only have the one side done. But im on to the other side!
Thanks for looking fellas!

Gary Windu Boggs, don't make me dig out my "Greif"!
Dude, one of your road wheels is riding slightly outside the edge of the tracks . . .

Hey Eddy!
Yep! You have to get your "GREIF" on now!
Yeah its not only sticking out a bit but its not touching the track on the bottom. Ill have to fiddle with it to correct.
Subinbuoi - Thx man! I hope it goes well for me.

Hi Gentlemen,
I made some more progress. What i dont understand is the opposite side wheels fit better than the first side but i had to add an extra link to the tracks to mate the ends properly. Hmmm... beats me? Anyways, got some other stuff done but its late and its past my bed time. Ill get some more done tomorrow and post.
Thanks for looking!
