Hi Gentlemen,

I have mounted the Jerry cans and mount. I think the styrene strips might be a lttle over scale but thats what i had on hand. Anyways, i looks better than the kit parts. I also sealed the rifles with flat clear.

Thanks for looking.

Hey Phil,

Thanks man! The 3M spot putty is used in automotive finishing. I use it to fill in small shallow areas that need attention. It dries fast and a tube will last a very long time. heres a pic.

For bigger jobs ill use Squadron white putty and after sandin that ill smooth it over with 3M putty and use a finer grit 320 or 400. You can see the redish arear where ive used it on the Greif.

Gary

...Another useful product which isn't sold in Italy

That's a really great job Gary. I can't wait to see the paint

cheers

Sorry to hear of the injury, and the set back.

That's what happens when you lift too many model boxes at one time. Ya know!

Get well soon!

Its looking good Gary, hope your back mends it self fast and you can get back to the bench.
My 253 is coming together, have had a few corrections to complete as I put hooks in wrong place and some sanding marks to full.

Hi Gary,

I hope your back feels better soon. I've been down that road before and I know it's not fun.

Get well soon!

Hi Gentlemen,

Thank you for your kind words of support. That means alot to me.
I have had back issues for several years now. My lower back (lumbar) L2,3,4,5 disk are Herniated and pinching nerves that cause severe lower back pain and spasms. This time i cut down a small tree 2 days ago and some sudden wrong movement on my part started the chain reaction. It happens every now and then. I knew i shouldnt have done it but i absolutley hate being held hostage to my back. So sometmes i tend to get cocky like i have a strong back and i pay for it for a few days. Basicly im 43 years old and have the back of a 3 year old toddler.

ILL BE BACK!

Thanks for your concern.

Hope you get well soon Gary. I know what you mean about your back. I pulled some muscles in my back a few weeks ago lifting a heavy wooden platform for a friend and another guy who decided to let go of his end thus shifting most of the weight to me. However, nothing like yours though. Pinched nerves in the back are brutally painful.

Love the build thus far and will be looking forward to seeing more.

Last Concert I attended was back in '96, KISS ... their Re-Union Tour also known as the "Psycho-Circus" Tour.

I don't miss concerts much anymore and with what I have to listen to music with it's like having them plug-in right here.

And my sub can really move some air too but I do have to watch out for the stuff hanging on the walls.

(Talk about getting old, think I gotta go lay down now, my race day cookout I consumed 4 brats, 2 ears of corn, potato salad and half a gallon of sun tea ... and that was 3 hours ago)

(Oh yeah ... cake. There was cake there too)
