Is it a horn?

Yes,it must be it. T-34 and Willys hornes look almost the same, so it must be so

I'm not particulary fond with half track vehicles, but I can say that, as usual, you're doing a great job indeed Gary

Hello Mauro,

Im happy you stopped by. I was thinking it was a horn but i wasnt sure. i thought id find out before i hollow out the center to resemble a real horn. Thanks man!

Well its late and once again im bored. Im at a bit of a stand still till i get a little more info. I though id snap a couple pics of my messy bench. I usually keep it more tidy than this so for me, its messy.

Ill talk at you guy tomorrow.

Looks like organized chaos to me, and certainly not messy at all! Everyone works with their own pattern and pace. I like my paint stored away, most here like it right in front of them.

I like having inspiration and motivation (not that I need it) around me and in front of my work area.

I have just recently switched to natural lighting and daytime type lamps that really make a huge difference in the quality of the work area.

Maybe one day my detailing will be on par with yours Gary! I'm sure you'll be fine with the cement you used. I would have chosen a safer bet with a CA or my usual Ambroid Pro Weld. It's just that I have had some bad experiences with the thinner types of adhesives.

Hi Gentlemen,

Well, I guess its not too messy, its just messy compaired to how i usually keep it. It may just be that im really haveing fun with this build.

Jesse - That light was a qwik fix when my other light that goes with the base, broke. The temp works good but it gets hot as heck and i keep burning my forehead. Not that i have anything to loose there.

Thanks fellas!

Sorry, I was working (and actually not allowed on the web ). Hope you didn't do any irreversible damage...
And the little thingy in front of the shovelis not a strangely placed rear view mirror, but a turn indicator (a mistake I made once)

BTW, your bench is not messy, compared to mine.

Looking good there Gary, hope the interior turned out well too!

Guys, if it isn't a little bit messy you're not doing anything worth while. Some of those pictures look like you guys have been hard at it!

So, is my area "messy"?

Hey Gary B.,

Maybe a new thread on that soon as to not hi-jack your fine thread on the "GREIF"? Really looking forward to seeing some paint on this thing (finally) and hope you were successful at the show yesterday?

Still on the fence as to getting my own 250 kit, but maybe next month. Since there is such a lull on building during the Campaign time I went back to the 1/16 Panther.

I still have a ways to go before paint but its getting close.
As for the show, yes i had a great day! Check this out!

And i scored this T-90 at the vendor area.

I know it looks like im tooting my own horn, well i am! Because its the best ive done at model shows to date.

Man i really like to see that 1/16th Panther move a head. Thats a sweet build.

Oh WOW!!! A free T-90? Sweet!!

What? No pictures of you standing on the podium with your medals around your neck and holding up your plaque!

So, what brought home all the medals?

Thanks guys! It was a day of days in the modeling world for me. The T-90 wasnt free, i had to pay for that. I had limited funds and i chose it. I haggled him from $45.00 to $35.00 which is probly the right price for it, i just didnt have to pay for shipping so i jumped on it. I wish i had about 300 bucks there as the vendor area was huge! Made my mouth water and they had Squadron open house as well. As far as what i got the medals for, heres a list:

Gold - T-62, 10.5cm "StuH"42 G., 1/16th Alpine German Officer.

Siver - T-34/76 Factory 112, Studebaker US6

Bronze - Staghound Mk1.

And Best Figure award - German Officer.

As far a pictures of me with awards, youll have to see them on the IMPS web site when the post. Ill be the good looking one!

I can post pics of each model here if you want to see them. Let me know for sure if you guys do.

Congratulations Gary!

I'm especially glad your T-62 grabbed a gold. That was an epic build log to follow. I vote for pics of the award winners... and a T-90 build log!
