Continuing work on the rear of the hull, fuel tank has been cleaned up (more to do though), and the beginnings of the strap bracket made that actually held the thing in place. Additional welds also added to brackets that fuel tank was mounted to.

All wheel assembly mounting arms (save one that I've apparently "misplaced"), are now rigidly mounted to lower hull.

Center bottom track run is now welded together. (I'm considering not bothering with the upper runs, as nobody will ever be able to see them anyway.)

Work also continues on the little Russian,... well little compared to the Maus anyway.

Hey guys !
Goodwork by all
I just need to add the PE to the E100 engine deck.
Next step is the turret.
I'll sort out the sag on the workable tracks once painted.
Cheers,
Paul

According to the tracking info I should get my T28/T95 kit today.
Besides the JEEP Campaign, this will be my priority build soon as I have been quite fond of the beast.
Paul P... that is coming along really nice!

Looks nice Paul; I think the commanders legs are a bit out of scale, or he has a habit of running around in stilts.

Maybe it's just my fantastically accurate sense of scale. Looking forward to seeing what paint scheme you go for.

Hi guys
looking superb fellas ,Paul the E100 looks a true super heavy mate, cant wait to see some paint on it.
As promised an update on the Tortoise
Don't chuckle at the upside down tracks as I know where you all live
I've airbrushed Revell Aqua color 36165 Bronze Green over a
Tamiya NATO black pre shade,I lightened the B/G with a touch of light grey and airbrushed some highlights.
A coat of Klear then a pin wash of black enamel.
Some light dry brushing and fading with Mig Pig P036 Allied Green (fading).
I want to show the tank in good nick and pretty clean so I'm just going to do a light dusting of chalky soil from the south of England
I'll start the chipping later this week and finish the tracks and the zorst
More soon
Andy

Nice work guys!
E100 is looking very good Paul, very clean and the tracks will come up a treat when finished.
Fantastic paint job Andy love your work. The lighter tone in the lower half has come out perfect. With the washes and weathering it looks real!
I wish I could make my models look that good!

Better add the updates on mine, almost forgot!
Just had a new addition to the family (a little earlier than expected ) so I might call this one done for the meantime. I can't see me getting much time for a while unless they are little touch ups.
I will be watching this thread though, want to see what you guys come up with.

Well OK now, I found the errant piece for the road wheels, and begun the installation. (Time consuming pain in the neck.)

Had I been paying attention, the main angled plate in the upper hull is split on both sides for removal of panels beneath. Doing this "in situ", combined with too much enthusiasm, ended up with me gouging the heck out of the upper right deck.

Allright... So, I scratch-build these two fellas. It's... exhaust pipe covers as seen in WoT. For anyone wondering what's the big whoop, since I am just a poor boy from the poor family, those are made of yoghurt lid, frame from PE parts and pretty much everything I could salvage from my Tiger I spare parts... Anyway, it is pretty much ready for painting. And since I hate that part, wish me luck.

Nice work on the scratch Zaaphod, good luck with the paint mate! What cammo you going for?
Maus is coming along very nicely Jagdtiger46 I never built the upper tracks on mine. I remember starting and realizing that no one will ever see them so the effort would be a total waste! (I'll blame it on that and not me being lazy!):)

There are two paint schemes in the kit. I think I'll go with three tone one. Dark Yellow, Green and Red brown...
