At first Road wheel,

When combined with parts of the left, occurs the right
But I have to do 24 units long working...
it's ok...
but it is not over .. There are also these parts
all completed

Thank you Andy , I'm happy to be here
Lets continue Maus,
Given metal shafts between the idler wheels and sprocket wheels. A solid mounting
and the wheels finished
test fitting.. Tracks are high quality and has very detailed suspension system but never see there

My question is... isn't the side armor rolled steel? Therefore it shouldn't be textured so.
Right?

Hi there,
here´s my progress, I guess about 5 hours up to now .
The only annoying part was the running gear, apart from that it seems to be a stressless build.
As this is a sort of "what if" campaign, I have decided to
to paint this monster in Sand colours like the Cents used
in the Suez conflict.
The reason being that the Armoured corps didn´t have enough support down there, and instead of scrapping the 6 pilot vehicles they were used as fire support tanks.

Nice start Paul.
I like the idea of painting that beast in sand colours. If nothing else it will make a refreshing change from all the dark green ones!
Be interesting to see one with a different paint job, I don't think I have ever seen one in anything but dark green.
I think I am calling my Jagd-E100 done. I am thinking about adding a night vision kit to it. I'm a bit worried that it will not match in with the wear and tear of the rest of the model.

Do not add it. Maybe you can make a stand for IR device, few wires left, but reading your story behind that behemoth, I think IR device will be first thing to be demounted and scrapped by locals. If it were parked in Slovakia, Romans (That's how we have to call them, they call themselfs gypsies...) would have it destroyed and sold to scrap in two days

I think you're right but man! Is that looking good now or what?
Now that my JEEP is finished and off my desk I must start on my entry.
Someday I want to build a Maus. I still can't believe yours is 1/72.

From what I've seen in pictures, the Maus armor appears to be rolled steel. I agree with Erhan that the texture provides an interesting change. I thought at first that it was a repop of the Dragon kit (or possibly the other way around) until I noticed the texture. It shares a lot of the same problems as the dragon kit.

Dazza: thanks dude, and I must say that´s a fantastic
finish on your E100 Jagdpanzer . I´d also leave the
night fighting gear off, you may end up with some unfortunate fit problems otherwise.
Kevin and Erhan: nice mice you two have there
Paul P: mean E100 dude, I finished mine also without the side skirts as it just looks even meaner that way
Andy: cool A39 mate, did you add all of the track links, or take the short cut by leaving the top run off?
Well the basic build is done, just need to paint the running
gear, add the tracks and skirts. I´ve drilled out the mounts for the 3 BESA MG´s and will add .30cals instead.
I shall also add some stowage baskets and bins as this monster is going to be operational. I may add a .50cal ranging gun but I don´t know where yet
Cheers

Okay... I dragged this box out to finally see what all the fuss is about. I have built MANY HVSS units before, so I am not intimidated by the number this has.
Let me know if this pic is okay or if you need a paper with the date on it.
Once I finish-finish the JEEP I will get right on it as I cannot wait now!

I had to stop after the first guide horn... John! You were right!
Thought I'd try the first piece to see if it's the correct adhesive, then a flurry of guide horns it will be.

Yeah, it is crazy when you stop and think about it but then there's always the AA kit. I wouldn't hesitate to get one at all but the price has always been the issue.
But since it's a T28 and the one at Fort Knox in front of the Patton museum is now gone, it's worth it. Always loved the thing.
Had it been another kit I wouldn't have owned it.

Hi there, thanks Sal she´s coming along, slowly but surely
Hello Keith: I wouldn´t call it "like a hare", it´s just
that I usually get off to a good start and then every thing
slows down, it´s kind of like the England football team I suppose (score a goal and lean back for rest of the game)
Well here´s my slow progress for this now, some scratched stowage bins and jerry can holders:
Need some tie downs on the casematt so I cann get a cam-net
on there, hope I get it done this week.

Oh, I love it Andy! Please tell me... how are assembling the track links?
I don't know which is worse, all the guide horns on my T28 or just individual track links?
Nice work!

Thanks Jeff
The tracks were a breeze, the easiest individual's that I've ever done ,like I said I did miss the top run out
Here's a tip, weight the hull to stop it from moving while jiggling them about, I use air gun pellets (BB's to you colonials)because there nice an heavy and about the same size as a 1/35 turret
and a slowish setting cement for more workability
Cheers
