Alright, seemingly everything is still alright here, even without my close supervision and my eyes hovering over everybodys workbench
We´re still running til the end of October, so there is plenty of time to join or finish up your builds.
If you´re done, please post your pic(s) in
"our Gallery" aswell.
Somehow this can be a tricky process, so please make shure they are actually in there.
Congrats to those four who already did that, nice work there!

Nice weathering, Nick. It definitely gets that dusty Middle East feel.
Looking forward to see more
Thanks! That's definitely where I am going with this by looking at a couple of pics I found online. Dust was such that you barely saw any green at all.
Hit a slight snag. While applying a filter I noticed that the acrylic wash, being a drop of Tamiya paint in 91% Alcohol diluted with water (50/50 mix), has reacted with some areas that were coated with Testors Dullcote. (Mainly matting the decals and hiding any CA glue residue.) I'll try and get a picture but I'll have to do a careful touch up of those areas...

See the white-ish area and 'tide-marks'? That's what I'm talking about.
My attempt to hide it. I will do another filter to see if that will blend everything together.

Nick, I see what you mean on the pictures, but does not look that bad - at least not after you fixed it with new filters.
Looking forward to see this beast finished.

I reckon I'm calling her 'done'.
Overhead shot if I must.
BTW Can't add pictures to gallery. I get this:

Hey it was fun! (So, do I really have to complete only another 200 campaigns to catch up with you? That's remarkable!)

Awesome tank Nick, love the dusty weathering. It's a good looking tank and I don't recall seeing one built before.
Did a little more work on my Jeep tonight, mostly trying to get the chassis finished up. I brush painted everything with Revell acrylics. With a drop or two of artists acrylic flow improver they brush remarkably well. The decal instructions suggest painting the Jeep British bronze green, but seeing as they are unmodified and probably drawn direct from US stocks in Korea, I can't see how. I decided to go with my gut and paint it olive drab. I used revell 46 NATO olive as it looks good enough (it looks a little grey in the photo, but it is OD). The bottom of the engine is painted 09 anthracite. Most of the bottom will be weathered so I'm not after accuracy, just some good base colours to work with.

On the bench: 1/72 Mosquito, Lightning F.6, DH.2,
AMT Vulcan Shuttle Surak.
Cyber-Hobby 1:35 Sherman Firefly IC - still stalled.

Hi Guys running late to this campaign but I am making quick progress
Got this kit a few years ago as a birthday gift and it sell on Scalehobbiest.com for $23 and change so that should keep me under the limit
Start up photo taken last Saturday

and the progress from that day

I managed to finish the build during the week

and prime it. Just coated it with some dunkelgelb so it should be finished by the deadline

Nice choice, eman! Will you do the pixel camouflage?
Ltb, Nice camouflage job. It seems like it might need a bit of weathering or are you going for a clean build?

Nice work Sal. The paint work is fantastic.
My build is progressing more slowly than I'd like (been slaving away in a bathroom when I'd have sooner been at my desk) but it's now starting to look like a Jeep.

Nice work so far. End of this campaign is October 31, which leaves about 2 1/2 days for you to finish your build. If there should be a need for an extention, let me know.
So far there are only 9 completed entries in the
gallery , while 47 members are enlisted in the campaign.
Had my kit finished probaly about a month ago, somehow never managed to take pictures. Anyway here it is: The old Italeri M4A3 (in a Revell box) somewhere in the Pacific:

Nice jobs on your tanks, Fabian and Lapman. Really nice additions to the campaign.
I guess that makes us 11 finishers in total

My kit is a 1/72 French Somua S-35 from Heller bought for 13 euros in a toy shop.

I did not get my model finished until today!!! I still have a flat coat to spray on then it will be done.
I realise the closure date was yesterday but I got held up due to personal stuff, kids vomiting everywhere, and I fell behind. If I post pictures of the finished model later today can I still qualify please?

here are the finished photographs. I had some trouble with the PE, fiddly bits and soldiers and lack of some colours of paints. Its a bit rough but only my third model I have finished as far as this.
Still a long way to go before I get any good at this but hopefully it will come with practice.
Thanks and hopefullymy entry can be accepted although it is a day late.
