And the castings obtained.
I have started my work on masters for lower boiler. First two easy grease boxes, just to warm up for next ones.

Wow, very nice small parts!
Perhaps you will smile... but on every picture with your fingers, I hold my own fingers as a size-reference!
Yes, a ruler (in inch and millimetres) would be a good solution, but the fingers are a "better than a ruler"-solution!
While a ruler shows numbers only, a finger can show a personal "feeling" about the size... I think so.
greetings...

Thank you Soeren, so one more for you here tonight
First of next is a grease pump, which I started last night and finished tonight. Small cleaning I will do again after surfacer is applied.

Another valve for brake line, this one is not easy at all, almost finished, but lots of sanding will be needed to shape it right.

Another one for today, a regulating valve is glued together, nicer polish will be done after surfacer again. And one more finished as well, G-P valve, what is brake-power controller to set brake system for passenger or goods train. Three more to go.

Thank you Steffen, my English is a bit behind my scratch building abilities
Now the most complicated master of these is a blowdown system valve, which will contain about 50 bits. A couple of pictures from my progress.

Hi Libor, your english is good... but your scratch-building-abilities are great!
At my project, I have to add 2 small 4-sided plates; one of them should be near to the small 5-sided part and the other one is located at the other side of the lander´s ring.
But cutting and sanding these very simple parts is a lot of work for me and my poor skills.
Also my "more complex" parts were not as complex and exact as your parts.
But for some of them I used metal-rods and now thin wire.
Also there are no good photos and drawings available, so these parts should not be perfect.
But the overall-effect of the finished model should look great.
greetings...
Soeren

Thank you Soeren, much appreciated.
To do any scratch is always about tons of references, good references. For me the best combination are drawings together with lots of photos.
Your project looks very good and together with finished base that will be very interesting, unusual nice build
And here we go, the valve almost finished. Tomorrow just two simple things and all the masters will be ready for surfacer and polish.
BTW 64 parts and bits used to get the valve done.
Cheers

Today all the masters finished and surfacer coat applied as well. Tomorrow I will tidy up a few little things and light polish will follow then, to get everything ready for moulds.
I hope I got everything needed

Once again, this work is out of this world. Amazing how you can work on such small parts.
Can you give any tips?

Thank you Sean, you are very kind. What kind of tips you mean? To make small parts? That would be the same like to make anything else and bigger, you just need finer tools and good magnifying glass - and lots of patience, of course. And most important thing for any scratch building what I have mentioned before, references of any kind, drawings, photos, and so on.
Done with moulds and castings for some time, I will stick back in building. PE frames for inner windows are ready for assembly and I will paint both walls in black soon.
Cheers

I am still working hard on another task, but in the middle I got a chance to improve my pressure equipment and get working another box. Now I can pour my castings every 5 minutes and keep going much better.
I am also about to finish those things soon, and some fresh update should be here in no time
Cheers

Looks a bit like injection-molding resin-casting.
Small joke.
Hmm, what are these blue things and the 3 metallic parts?
The red/orange Black & Decker machine looks like a compressor.
greetings...

Hi Soeren,
thank you for dropping in. Well, these are metal pressure boxes (made up for my exact needs) and blue lids are taken from water facility mud filter. I used to work with whole things first, but for safety reasons I switched into metal, because of high pressure used during my casting. The only thing left to improve is the compressor now
Finally I got back. First I found out that windows from the kit were too thick for assembly of the frames, so I had to make my own windows from clear sheet. Windows next to the doors are not provided in the kit anyway, and I had made them up earlier, but for some reasons I got new ones as well. Now they are glued on with their frames, I will mask them and painting can begin.
Cheers

Hi Libor, perhaps a bit to late... I found an "error" in your plans of the decals (from 24. April).
"Bremsecylinder" could be "Bremszylinder".
Or, are your shure to read that?
It´s possible, but the older german (WW2 times and older) is a bit different to the "modern one".
greetings...
