I have tried to post a few of these pics in the gallery, but apparently I do not have enough space. I tried to delete some earlier posted pictures to make room, but I cannot find a "delete" button.
Jim
Click on the thumbnail of the picture you want to delete. Under the bigger picture, there is an "Edit Photo" icon. Click on that. You will see a checkbox for deleting the picture. Check that and then click the "Submit changes" button.

Jim------Outstanding work on the "Technical". Talk about a "Benghazi" street fighter!!!!!
Jeff T----Glad you got your decal dilemna worked out. Can't wait to see the Puma finished. I have always loved wheeled armored vehicles and that is a great subject.

Got the decals on the Seafire yesterday. I thought I was going to use an Aeromaster set I had but their research wasn't right and the plane on the sheet was marked wrong. I took a chance and used the AVIPRINT decals that came with the Special Hobby kit since they were correct. Great decals but they only needed a two second soak and they were ready. VERY THIN to say the least. Anyway, should have it wrapped up this week.

Thanks Greg and Jeff!. I have always liked Fleet Air Arm markings because that roundel stands out over the camo.
Jeff-----Puma looks awesome. The red numbers really look sharp over the Dk. Yellow. Nice color contrast.

Dmitry, beautiful work on the KV-. Just out of curiosity what caliber weapon was proposed for that vehicle?

Colleagues, thanks for responses.
Jeff,
From a donor set I used many details - basic and supporting wheels, levers, caterpillars, details on turret (supervision devices, the ventilation device)...
Ian,
On this tank it was planned to establish a gun in calibre of 107 mm.

Thanks Gary & Greg. I remember doing this once before, but forgot where the delete button was. Fixed the problem, and I posted one of the pics in the gallery. Everything posted there is great. Can't wait to see all the entries once completed.

Jim: Looks great. I really like the wear on the wood sides.
Ian: Looks super with the decals. Are you going to put in some of the panel lines across the decals? Just curious if that is done or not. Also, what is the big plane above the seafire?
Dimitry: coming along really well.
Jeff T: looks fab my friend.
Boy, I'd better get back on the stick!! Too much else going on lately.

Hey Zon............. I still have more to do. I will restore the panel lines over the decals but I have to wait at least two days for the decals to set before I do that. If I draw on them and they are not cured I am going to have a mess. Plus, these decals are so thin I wanted to be a little more cautious than usual. I should have the rest of the lines drawn this week and then I will flat it out with Testors original Dull-Cote thinned with Metallizer thinner. In answer to your other question..........that would be an Airfix 1/48th scale Buccaneer in the background that I am working on. One of my favorite fast-movers of all time!!! I am doing a Desert Storm bird painted with Lifecolor Desert Storm pink. Kind of a side project while I work on the Seafire. Once again, everybody's projects look awesome.
Regards, Ian

Ian: Cool!! Please share on the Bucc too!! The view you posted is an interesting study in scale. From that view, I was thinking that perhaps it was a 1/32 Alpha Jet, but that didn't quite seem right. Also, thanks for the info on the panel lines. I'm getting even closer on breaking down into the P-40. I actually took it out of the stash in our storage unit...

Afternoon my fellow 48 scalers,
As I have campaign builds mounting up, I thought I'd better make a start, I was originally going to build the Tamiya Jagdtiger but I'm waiting on a set of Hauler Grills, and can't wait any longer, so as I bought the Tamiya Cromwell at the Hendon show a few weeks back, I thought I'd build that instead.
This is my progress so far,
This was yesterday
and this is my work so far today
I'll post more pics as I go, sorry about the picture quality, I'm a rubbish photographer

Zon... I have a Sheridan I would like to build,so the Getter Done 3 might work.I'd really like to build it for the Operation Afghanistan Campaign, but I can't seem to find any hard facts that say they where used there.I have an Abrams I could use but thats too easy
The rest are Jagdpanzer,Humber,and a Merk IV.Jeff T.

Jeff T.: The Sheridan should work for the Light Tanks campaign, which runs through December, unless you already did that one? The Sheridan was in the first Gulf War '91, but I don't think they've gone to A-stan or more recent Iraq efforts.
Also, the Merk might work for the Cold War MBT, but it only allows to 1991, so Merk IV might be too late?? I don't know Merks that well.
